He needs to embrace the fact that his range of looks starts with Mike Bibby/Mini Me and ends with Master Po from Kung Fu.
And am pretty sure I saw Kidd out there with them. Let's admit having Jason Kidd coaching your guards doesn't suck. Caruso's got the tools with a little less athleticism and strength probably .... to really take advantage of Kidd's coaching. Bradley. TNT. Kostas.
I actually don’t know who it was, but I did not watch the video the whole way through. But at least in the first minute or two of the video, there was somebody also shooting baskets with him. I don’t even recognize players on my own team Not all that excited tbh. Hopefully that changes
I was thinking that was Quinn Cook. Both had nice looking strokes going on with I thought the latter (Daniels if not Cook) having even better rotation on the ball.
i really don't think kidd has wisdom to impart, tbh. like magic (and lonzo, more recently), he just sees/anticipates things others don't. it's hard to show that to someone else. it's like shaq telling post players to just be twice as strong as their opponent.
I think that’s part of why magic was not a good coach. Superstar players take for granted a lot of their game versus grinders who work hard at their craft to just make the league. That’s why you see so many mud level/mediocre players become good coaches. Phil Jackson, Steve Kerr, Mike Dan Tony, Pat Riley, Greg Popurzitz, Rudy T, etc. the list of those guys is far longer than guys who could have been considered stars or superstars at one point.
The Bald Eagle too is coordinated and has skills. Expecting a break out year from what he's been allowed to do in the past. The "Per 36" numbers are a nice way to look at him and he earned that with those solid games against playoff teams at the end of the season who were fighting for position. https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/c/carusal01.html
