I want the Hawks to win for obvious reasons, but this series is going 7.

Bron's due for some of his post season cramps any game now. If only so the commentators can say what a finely tuned machine he is that is why it happens. That's OK ....let him cramp.

    Cavs in 6 unfortunately.

I just don't think the NBA will allow the Hawks to win this series even though they're the better team. They don't have a marque player the media can put on a pedestal

I like ATL chances ... more cohesive team than Cavs on both ends ... Hawks in 6

How great would a GS/Hawks final be? I would love that. The two best teams all year from each conference. Sounds fair to me. I don't want the Beard, Coward or LBJ to be anywhere near the Finals.

It'd be great for die hard bball fans, but the NBA would be PISSED.

The only true star in that series would be Curry and while the NBA would love to have their rising superstar/MVP in the Finals, I'm not so sure they want him in the Finals playing Al Horford and Jeff Teague. Neither of those teams is in a major market. Only one of those teams has appeal for the casual fan. There's only one hero in the series and there's no marketable "villain" (Duncan vs. LeBron).

The ratings would be super disappointing...

Which is exactly what we want! The NBA for whatever reason thinks parity is a good look for them! That means bad things for us. We need them to realize that this is a league driven by their bell cow franchises: NY, LA, Boston, Chicago, and Miami. They need to help us rebuild. So let's go Atlanta! And let's go Golden State!

^^ Yep. Agreed all the way. I don't care what the ratings are - those are the two best teams from each of their respective conferences and I want to see them battle it out. I don't want the manufactured stardom of Beard Papas the free throw machine, nor the Cavs with their million number one picks. Too much league in those stories. Gimme straight B-ball please.

Two teams moving the ball constantly and playing swarming defense? That's the dream!

GS/ATL would be so refreshing, and the most enjoyable non-Lakers final ever for me.

Korver has to find his shot for the Hawks to win. His PPG won't determine the series, but the spacing and movement that is created by the attention he gets when he has the ball is huge. He hasn't been himself the entire post season.

cavs got all the luck in the world, they got all the refs and NBA officials in their pockets too. lebonza is shooting 42% FGs, they lost love and irving missed some time due to the injury and still they proceeded to the East Finals. Bulls s*cked big time though...Hope Hotlanta fixes this. I hope never to see the king of crab in the NBA finals....
