Most fans don't realize that pros barely miss a shot in practice. Lol even Ben Simmons drills shots in practice.

Even scrubs like Stauskas have youtube videos where they make more than 100 threes in 5 minutes (thats MAKING a three in less than every 3 seconds for 5 minutes) or make 72 of 76 threes in the rain outdoor on the street.

Its amazing how much of a difference the "real game" with real defenders make.

I have seen Gilbert Arenas drill like 10 consecutive left handed (with one hand) threes from the corner pre-game. Its pretty amazing to watch what muscle memory can do.

This. They used to say Sasha never missed in practice. But other than those two ice-cold free throws to clinch game 7, he could never make buckets when they counted.

i felt that way, too, but between 2006 and 2009, he shot 37%, 43%, and 36% from deep. so, he hit during games respectably (fantastically in 2007-8).

i shot threes at like a 60% clip in practice and like 30% in games.

    Good stuff!

Did you see Pop telling him to put his hands up on D? I mean c'mon... hand down man down... also it's easier to draw a foul with the hands down.

I'm excited about his improved jumper but if his D is horrendous again this year, I'm gonna strangle some kittens!

That video is a good example of what I’ve been saying about Kuz’s defense. He gets faked out on multiple plays there, and his instincts aren’t great, but he’s still able to effect shots and be effective because of his length against shorter players especially.

The less physical international play style also helps though.

He did have a very good 2008 season, and I don't mean to get bogged down in this, but the question is whether he made them when they actually counted. He had a very strong game 3 in the 2008 finals, but then followed that up by shooting 3 for 19 over the the next two games, including 1 for 10 from three. It was a total choke job. Even one more three could have saved us in game 4.

Pop would have been great for Julius or he would have had a stroke over him. Why in the **** could our coaches never get through to him to CONSISTENTLY keep his bleeping hands up? It's not like arms are heavy and it wears you out. Used to drive me bonkers. It was like he thought if he stared hard enough with his hands down it was all that was needed. Too many times watching Jedi mind tricks with the Star Wars franchise?

it's not just randle, lots of nba players don't keep their hands up on defense. it's bizarre. it's like the poor screen setting--we celebrate the like, 8 guys in the league that consistently set good, legal screens. um...everyone can do this, people. steph freaking curry does it. put in some effort and use your brain.
