Oh, and hear me out here, it wasn't an ankle sprain and our genius (partially former) medical staff misdiagnosed it and now it lingers.
Well, FWIW, I am from San Diego and was rooting for him when he was an Aztec. To see him go from those humble beginnings to what he is now, is very amazing and a very good thing for SDSU. I do root for him in that regard because I went to school there too and have that appreciation. Yeah, maybe you are right that Zo is just a kid and will grow out of it. But I have my doubts, think his dad is his example and it is more likely that he will grow into it than out of it. He has never really shown any inclination to think for himself.
I wish Zo well. Having the roster we have now will make it pretty impossible to miss the young guys toooo much this year. I wish them well, and hopefully they continue to develop. And hopefully we handled business respectfully enough that the ability to come home later isn’t out of the question for either party.
538's projections are out. Lonzo was given a 5-year market value of $269.6M last year. He had the 9th highest 7-year value of all players. That number dropped to $258.2m for the next five years, but that value is astronomical. Only Simmons, Giannis, Harden, Westbrook, Tatum, Jokic, Towns, and Mitchell are higher. Now, I'm not saying I agree with any of this. I'm just pointing it out.
Agreed. That’s still a ton of money, but I think I had him the second best prospect in his draft class.
guess I'm remembering really incorrectly or maybe after we'd seen him in the league awhile. Thought you were not that big on him.
I wanted to trade the pick and out De’Aaron Fox next to Russell. And grab Zach Collins later in the first.
I mean, and it goes without saying that ditching Russell was stupid. Getting rid of Russell and pretending it could be Ball’s team was what I hated. I did think his defense would be far worse than it is, but I have the spreadsheets. I think only Fultz was higher. And I still think Fultz will be a good player.
Sorry. I had Ball as the second best PG. Here are my top ten from that draft crop... Fultz 94 - drafted first, we'll see Z. Collins 93 - he's already good; I want to see him get more MPG J. Collins 92 - he's 3rd in his class by WS and VORP Bradley 91 - not playing much in the NBA Evans 88 - he's really struggled Ball 87 - he's been one of the best when healthy Smith 87 - has played the 8th most minutes, has posted a per minute value of a middle second rounder Fox 85 - between 12 and 14 on VORP and WS, but he was 3rd in MIP this last season; bright future Josh Jackson 82 - currently dead last among all who have played in VORP and WS; unfortunately, PHO has him playing out of position Hart 80 - he's 10th in WS and VORP Just so it's very clear, I wanted to trade the #2 because I thought there were quite a few players clustered around being good enough. It seemed the #2 could have gotten Fox and Collins. That's what I wanted, and Sacramento had the #5 and #10.
I want to find out just to know what it is... Lke @KB24 stated, it is taking this long to heal. Could be something serious?
lol @ how the pels/their 3 fans are hyping up lonzo and BI so much after calling them trash for months
