Hey the 3rd wrong goaltending call on the Bulls finally plays a part in the series. Cavs win by 2. All Chicago had to do was get 1-2 buckets in both of their droughts and this game would have been over. And for the love of God quit leaving shooters open. Did perfect the first 3 quarters and then leave JR open for 2. Both times it was Snell closing down on Mozgov of all people. Mirotic is garbage. Another buzzer beating game winner. Unreal! LeBron's jumper was cold all night, but he came through with the game on the line. Reminded me of those Kobe games where he was missing everything the whole the game, but hits the big shot. Bulls killed themselves with those scoring droughts, they just don't have enough offense. I can't see either of these teams beating a Western Conference team, unless LeBron has an MJ-esq finals.
You guys seem rather sure that Cavs stand no chance in the finals, you better be right. If Cavs can make it all the way without 2 of their starting 5 players, then i'll be damned.
Ugh, if the Cavs walk to the championship, I'm gonna be pissed. Curry and Co. gotta put it together. No faith in Atl or Wash taking down Cavs if they pass Chicago.
I wouldn't say that have no chance. I'd just favor the Grizzles/Warriors/Clippers over the Cavs in the finals if they met.
The East is very weak. Overall the Cavs have enough star power on their team(LeBron, Shumpert, J.R. Smith, Kyrie, Perkins, etc...) to defeat the Chicago Bulls, despite missing Love and Verejao, but they haven't been able to put them away. Have to give the Bulls some credit, they've found a little something on defense. But I'd still expect the Cavs to have a lead on Chicago despite Derrick Rose playing lights out, and even in this game, missing Pau, they(Cavs) couldn't pull away, so I'm sure they won't cake walk to the finals. I don't have faith in many of those West teams either, especially after seeing Golden State these past two games. And though LeBron may have lost a step or two, who on the remaining west teams can guard him and dry his jumper out? Mark gasol? Zach Randolph? Um?....Blake?
big shot by LeBron. had a couple of calls not go the superstar way (not to say they weren't technically correct, but james harden would have shot 11 FTs on those plays...) and hung in and nailed the tough one. gotta give credit. cavs stand no chance minus love and with a hobbled irving, though. I'm just holding out hope the d****** rockets don't luck themselves into a title by being the only team with healthy stars.
The Rockets are going to be stopped by the Clips. No worries. The only problem... it's the Clippers. Oh well.
Another easy trip to the Finals for LeBron. I miss when the NBA had good teams and the playoffs felt like the playoffs, like hard fought battles. There's no teams now like those Knicks, Bulls, Pacers, Heat and some others anymore. There's no Blazers, Kings, or Spurs of the late 90's early 2000's. It's weak, it's all so weak, I find myself not even caring to watch anymore. LeBron is the luckiest star in NBA History, he came in at a time with zero rivals and no real competition other than the Spurs. That he's only 2 for 5 in the Finals in this era should be embarrassing to him.
There could have been lot of good series this playoff season but injuries happened to pretty much every team.
Blatt calling a timeout while having none left would be my biggest complaint of the series if I were a Bulls fan

I told coach there’s no way I’m taking the ball out unless I could shoot it over the backboard and go in. So, I told him to have somebody else take the ball out and get out of the way,” LeBron said. That’s not the first time these playoffs LeBron has publicly thrown his coach under the bus. After the Cavaliers’ Game 1 loss to the Bulls, LeBron said Chicago was “exploiting us with our coverage” and that was a key reason for the downfall. All of that follows a season of what ESPN’s Brian Windhorst cleverly called “a giant game of passive-aggressive theater” between the coach and his star player. Blatt came in wanting to install a motion-based offense and eventually had to scrap it and go with something more conventional in part because there was no buy-in from LeBron. That dynamic has been there all season long. Throw in that LeBron is the most powerful person in the Cavaliers organization, and you have to wonder: Will David Blatt be back to coach the Cavaliers next season? Right now it doesn’t feel like it. Blatt was hired before owner Dan Gilbert and the Cavaliers realized LeBron was serious about returning to his home after four years in Miami. Blatt was seen as an offensive genius who could spend years developing a young team — one that would have top pick Andrew Wiggins — and get them to buy into and grow into what he wanted to do. Then LeBron instantly changed everything about the Cavaliers’ season. Especially the expectations. Blatt — who had won big in Europe and had plenty of sideline experience — had to learn the NBA way while in a fishbowl. He’s still learning some of the basics, as evidenced by his attempt to call a timeout late in Game 4 Sunday when the Cavaliers were out of them. If the officials had seen Blatt before Tyronn Lue had grabbed him, LeBron might have never had the chance at his game winner. Blatt and LeBron — and the rest of the Cavaliers’ players — have had an up-and-down relationship over the course of the season. At times, LeBron has praised his coach, other times the tension has been evident. LeBron has been the one calling plays at times — although if you have the best player on the planet, a high IQ player, you should let him call plays. Ttheir relationship started out slowly and with the way LeBron has acted during the playoffs, you have to wonder how far it’s come. That said, Blatt has grown more comfortable with the NBA game as the season has gone on, and he’s made moves — such as adjusting the Cavaliers’ defensive systems after the trades to bring in Timofey Mozgov and Iman Shumpert mid-season — that helped fuel the Cavaliers’ second half run. How well the Cavaliers do the rest of these playoffs will play into what happens to Blatt — can you really let a coach go of a team that makes the Finals? But the biggest say will be LeBron’s. Based on what LeBron has said during the playoffs, Blatt could be one and done as an NBA guy. If a change is made, it will not be framed by the organization as LeBron’s call, they will shield him. Then a guy with more of an NBA background the players trust — maybe lead assistant Lue? He’s popular with the players — could step into the big chair next season. For sure, that as well. Cheated out of 3 points in a 2 point game. That's absurd. Replay is there for a reason, use it. Just like in the NFL with the stupid can't review a fumble if player A does this or this. Bulls cannot catch a break with these 50/50 calls or obvious plays that should be called.
I'm actually going to side with LeBron on the last shot thing. If he actually does want the last shot, you give it to him, you live or die with your star in that situation. If he wants to take on that responsibility you let him, because there is no Ray Allen on that bench to call on for that shot.
Me too. He learned how to be a leader. He learned how to take those clutch shots. There is no reason not to let your superstar have it, except if you have some truly exceptional shooters on the team, and you have a great plan how to give them an open look. But in this case, Bron made the right decision. "Give me the ball". How many times have we heard Kobe say those words? And he delivered.
James has been criticized for not having a killer instinct, passing up the opportunity and deferring to others. Not that time, kudos to him for taking the last shot and living with the results. He did that before to Orlando in 2010.
