    FYI, the assumption on timing of transactions is off here. We actually need to use our cap space and then execute the trade.

    The Lakers have been working to make this trade while over the salary cap, which means they need to use the cap space and then execute the trade.

    If you want to make the trade over the cap, you have to match ADs salary within 125%. The original reported deal did not have enough salary. The trade with Washington gets us back to salary matching so we can make the trade over the cap.

    The deal with the waiting 30 days was to allow the Lakers to sign the #4 pick, which would be around 7.5 million, then include that for salary matching purposes. The 30 day delay was because you cannot trade a drafted play that you sign for 30 days.

    That's fine. Hot dogs there aren't too bad. He gets a taco there while living in SD though and he's as good as dead to me. SD has the best tacos in the world.

    Dude went from Reddit to the AM/PM, took a photo to compare it to the one where "Kawhi" was and it was identical. So, there is a VERY STRONG possibility that Kawhi is in fact in San Diego.

    No. But the Kawhi signing needs to happen before the trade.

    Based on this, the Lakers will be holding up a whole lot of the league by delaying the trade past tomorrow.

    More than a day or two and other teams will start getting pissed at us.

    At this point, there is nothing to say these deals couldn't all be executed on time tomorrow.
