    I'm not trying to be a jerk to you, and you make a great point about life decision for him and his family, but this just shows you how well off sports athletes are. The life decision he is having such a tough time with is choosing between three billion dollar companies that are offering him hundreds of millions of dollars in the best cities of two separate countries. It's not like he choosing to join the army or to quit and become a pastor or anything.

    We’ve been waiting on this guy since Sunday. We literally have 6 or 7 players on our roster, and the AD trade is supposed to be made official tomorrow. I know it’s a big decision, but he’s holding up all of remaining free agency right now. The only positives I’m taking from this are that we are still in it, and that Woj and the media were clearly full of s*** all season long as NOBODY on earth seems to know what Kawhi is thinking or where he’s leaning, apparently not even Kawhi himself.

    Doesn’t seem like that kind of guy to me. He told the Spurs to trade him, one of the most respected organizations in the league with the most respected coach. He took a ton of heat for that but he still did it.

    Yep if that plane is now carrying Kawhi's family members, then I don't know. If that is the case he's likely delaying till tommorrow so the Raptors can announce him officially.

    Tomorrow is the 6th. Isn't that the stupid nickname drake gave that city? Would he sign then to join ovo or whatever tf drake was offering him?

    Also, my good friends who are from Toronto hate that nickname and they only refer to Toronto as tdot which is also stupid.

    Kawhi has the right to his decision - Fact

    Kawhi’s camp leaking to Carter a date for decision and then not doing it - Fair for fans from any team involved to criticize

    IMO the longer it takes the better our chances, but at this point with all the “leaks” and media circus it’s becoming more anticlimactic and less excited anticipation.

    I’ll be ecstatic if he signs but everything in between is what it is, a circus.

    I dunno, If the reports of him still being in Toronto and his family jumped on that plane in San Diego this morning to join him are true then I have to believe either that he's just holding the line to weaken us through the FA market or he literally doesn't want to face us to say no thank you. Again only if this is true and if that's the case I think we have a snowballs chance in hell because why would he still be there...

    If he's here than we are still in the mix but it's all speculation at this point and who the hell knows

    Agreed, I think the longer it takes the better it bodes for the lakers. The Raptors have nothing else to really say/do. If he wants to come back it should be fairly straightforward and IMO shouldn't have taken this long to happen if it was going to.

    @Mr. Rambis wouldn't it make sense that the Lakers will have to be working the phones with the Pels to adjust the date/time for the trade to allow kawhi time to make his decision?
