    Vegas Odds still have Lakers favored to win it all next Year.. That always makes me feel a bit better.

    Could signify that they think Lakers have the best shot at signing kawhi hence giving them better odds to win the title

    Vegas also uses the odds to vent all the suckers to back their money so take that for what you will

    Because there is so much money involved with gambling in Vegas, they have shown time and again to have a deep insight into how things will play out.

    That being said, a lot of times the odds are affected by how gamblers are actually betting, and the line moves to help offset their financial liability if a bet goes against them.

    They don't really mean much because a lot of it is determined by how much money is going in on a certain team, but these odds makers do have sources & have been more accurate in predicting these things than ESPN in the past.
    Just something to pass the time while we wait.. Sorta like checking a plane's airspeed to try to determine how many people were one it.. : )

    Seems like Lakers are just finding about this via the Cris Carter tweet. Didn't hear from Kawhi's camp prior. No plans on their end to reach out. They want to be patient and respect his process.

    With the Lakers it was never going to be a 2 year deal since Supermax not in play. News that he isn't planning on doing so with Toronto is encouraging to them, as financial difference with that deal factored in is significant. The news that he is still undecided, however, is making everyone a little cautious.
