    Perhaps this isn’t directly about the Raps or Lakers, but endorsements and other money instead.

    I find it purposeful (from KL’s camp) that the early “leaks” were all about LA, then it all shifted to Canada.

    Perhaps these meetings are more about NB and other companies endorsing the KL brand long term. For example, is NB willing to pay him more and share revenues at a higher percentage if he chooses LA? There are surely more things going into this than basketball considerations. Leaks could equal leverage.

    Interesting that I haven’t heard anything public from him since July 3rd where he said he’s hearing from sources that it’s the Lakers for Kawhi.

    I don’t think it takes kawhi this long just to go back home. It just doesn’t make sense. You take a lot of time when you need to make a big move. This involves so much logistics. Home, schools, paperwork, just so much. Think about moving yourself. Everything from the dmv crap to the housing and schooling situation if you have kids. There is so much involved.

    @+Pope+ No news. If I learn something I'll share it here, though I am going to be in and out of calls today so there may be a delay. But the Lakers and you and me have almost the same amount of relevant info at this point. As soon as news breaks from Kawhi, you'll likely hear about it before I have the chance to update. It's almost like someone is stretching a rubber band to its limit with how much this has dragged on. As soon as they let go, it's gonna fly everywhere!
