    So, the alternative is they sent a team plane to bring him to town so they could give their final pitch, but would make him find his own way home if he didn’t commit to them? C’moooon...

    Can we please just leave the airplane speculation alone? There is nothing to be made of it and it could all mean anything. This is getting absurd.

    Well, apparently there was an easterly wind, so that combined with weight would make it not possible, unless empty. Also, they were saying at that speed with that wind, it would be very uncomfortable for the passengers.

    Regardless, the plane got clearance to head back to Toronto soon, so unless anyone spots Kawhi in SD, it will be another 4 hours at least to see if Kawhi’s family gets off the plane in Toronto.

    This is seriously like something out of a comedy sketch. Can you imagine if 30 years ago we told people that we'd being using cameras to track a person landing at an airport to see which basketball team he might play with? They'd rightfully think our society had gone down the toilet.

    I just signed up to LB, couldn't resist any longer after lurking here the past week. Shouts to @therealdeal who I have not spoken to in ages but still is on my facebook from way back in the OTR days :)

    Kawhi will be a Laker and that's cool, speaking as a Canadian. Just want to see some beautiful ball this year.

    Maybe, if no one was on the plane, they just need to board. If the plane was occupied, they just need to get off...works both ways. They’re either unloading or loading, not both.

    This post is so purely Canadian. I love it. I think it's because of sentiments like these that I know most--if not all-- Lakers fans would totally respect Kawhi's decision to stay in Toronto. Hard to be mad about that, even if it'd be disappointing for LA.

    First post here and I've been seeing Chris Carter retweeting a lot of pro Lakers stuff this morning. Everyone has said he's the closest to Kawhi inner circle. I think he's leaving bread crumbs and letting everyone know Kawhi is coming to the Lakers.
