Crazy man. It's radio silence around Kawhi. It's good though...I don't wanna eff this up with him if he's really chosen us and he's testing to see if any leaks come out as that's probably what his concern was before meeting us

Or he wanted to give Toronto their meeting, and be able to go home and get some fresh clothes out of his closet before heading back to LA.

If he is going to tell Toronto he's out, having them fly all the way to California just to crush them is a D move.

If he flies there to tell them, that's respect.

    Or so I tell myself.

Something about people over 40, we don't do stupid s*** to be cool. We buy products that are good, that work for us. Personally, I wear Asics. I wear them because they keep my feet feeling good. Nike's suck, they mess my feet up after wearing them for an hour. NB are a top 3 shoe for me but ultimately I buy Asics for the comfort and their longevity. I am wearing a 3 year old pair right now, even though I have newer ones. It is just a great shoe. That being said, my feet feel pretty good in the NB's I have tried and I would be willing to buy a pair if Kawhi was a Laker and his brand was on it.

Nikes are for the cool kids, I could care less about them. Ain't trying to impress anyone in the hood.

Seems like they were pouring it on Magic tho with the hat. Trying to take the negative interpretation on all things Magic. I don’t like that. NoMo keeping the b.s. going.

Ramona, Brian fathorse and Woj Bum should all be accorded persona non grata status in LA, irrespective of us landing Kawhi.

Take a cue from Mark Cuban who did something similar to Marc Stein, who kept taking cheap shots at the Mavericks when he was with espn.

Based on the Rambis info from the NB meeting, I think he HAS decided Lakers. He already knows what Toronto can offer him more or less. I respect Masai a lot, but it's much different Masai saying the right things on a 1 year deal than it is saying the right things on a 4-5 year deal. Masai guaranteeing something like him staying around is crazy and I would be shocked if Kawhi's team put much weight behind his answer. Life's crazy and he could #metoo'd or something before another year is even up. Magic probably told LeBron he was staying around too...

At the end of the day everyone has done a lot for each other this past year and a respectful exit was bound to happen...or I could be wrong and he's signing in Toronto right now.

It’s the professional thing to do either way. You don’t spend a whole season with a team after they take care of you to just end it over a call. He just won a ring for them, the least he can do is give them a face to face meeting to give them one more crack before telling them no if that’s his answer.

I am in my 40s as well and no longer live in the hood but one of the biggest demographics buying player marketed shoes are the younger generation period. Nikes can't be all that bad if professional athletes are wearing them during games...just sayin SO even though Nikes may not fit your feet right they seem to fit a lot of other people very well. I was gonna mention Asics earlier as well because I have a couple pairs myself and they are super comfy but my point was merely coming from a financial perspective. Nike holds a gigantic share of overall market value for people buying signature shoes.

If you are a class act, you go there and tell them on their court.

Plus, even if he does choose the Lakers, he probably still has stuff to take care of back there. Won't hurt him to be back there for awhile.

NB are great for walking and running. I'd definitely buy a pair.
