    I think getting Kawhi is not only important for title contention in the near future, but absolutely imperative for the grander scheme of things or big picture. LBJ is not going to be as prolific or productive in 2-3 years. If and when he leaves/retires, we would still have 2 perennial superstars (in their prime) holding fort as franchise cornerstones. We need to ride it out now as we are at the home stretch and I’m not sweating those inflated contracts we lost out to impatient buyers. We might have just dodged several proverbial bullets, while waiting for Kawhi’s decision.

    @Mr.LakersGM I'm posting exactly what I hear from AEG. It is more than likely true information. Unfortunately, nobody can tell you what Kawhi's decision is because he hasn't made one. Even if you asked him yourself he might not know the answer yet! If you would like concrete information about free agency signings, I suggest you follow the top guys at ESPN, who are more tied into these basketball decisions than I am, especially as their sources span multiple teams. Just be wary because sometimes they do not do a good job of distinguishing what is their speculation versus what is rooted in fact!

    Mr. Rambis is a respected member of this board. If you can't treat him as such, you'll be shown the door.

    We love the traffic we're getting and this site is gaining in popularity, but we're not going to sacrifice the culture that @Barnstable has cultivated on this site just for more traffic.

    He has never claimed to be an insider for the team or NBA. He is giving us info from his perspective and knowledge.. if you choose not to heed or take it then simply don't. You dont need to insult the guy or be condescending. He really doesnt have to post anything at all.
