    I know, that’s what I’ve been saying as well. But Twitter is killing us for the “Magic leaks” when Magic doesn’t even work for the Lakers anymore, so who knows, it could be a thing. Then again, uncle Dennis supposedly loves Magic so probably not.

    Well actually there's some KTLA people who are saying Clippers.

    And Haynes said he'd be surprised if Kawhi left Toronto.

    I have to hope they realize Magic is his own entity. :D He's not in the Lakers FO so none of that is leaking from us. If they don't like that Magic went public and that is enough to sway them, then damn they're some finicky birds and it is what it is. We've put ourselves in the best position we could.

    Fair enough, but I don’t think those people are saying “It’s done. Will be announced shortly” the way some credible people are saying with regards to the Lakers.

    I don't know how to look up the Clipper guy from KTLA, but that's pretty much what he's saying. :D

    He's saying the Lakers are a huge smokescreen and Kawhi is definitely going to the Clippers.

    If this is true, its a little concerning to me that Uncle Dennis and or Kawhi never met with Jeanie then. If your coming to a team you would think to meet with the owner, right...

    Just had a chance to catch up on everything. Here's what I've heard (not much):

    AEG has been repeatedly pinging the Lakers asking for updates. There's a good amount riding on this. Lakers FO I'm told is keeping quiet, and has reiterated its previous message to be patient but that they are confident in their ability to close the deal.

    Based on today's reports, my personal opinion is that the Lakers FO is being so tight lipped, along with the Clippers and Raptors FOs, in order to respect Kawhi and his private disposition and prevent any leaks. In short, as they have received positive feedback from his camp, the silence is encouraging. Seems as though the media is being entirely cut out of this process out of each team's fear of blowing a potential deal.

    No one but Kawhi and his reps have gotten this many teams to be on their best behavior. Only Kawhi.... haha

    @Battle Tested20 I actually view this as a good sign given how the Lakers FO has recently operated. While Anthony Davis information was coming in more regularly, when negotiations got serious between Griffin and Pelinka everyone, including the media, was shut out. That's why the last thing I reported was the 3 team deal with the Bulls, and then had nothing until it closed. To me, the silence is encouraging and a potential signal that things are becoming serious, especially since the last official word in the media was related to Magic's conversation a few days ago. But, I am an optimist!

    Jordan Schultz is on ESPN710. The first question Ramona asks:" what are the details on who was in the meeting with the Clippers? The heavy hitters of Doc Rivers and Jerry West?"

    Jordan responded with: "certainly the Clippers have some of the most respected names in the game, but how do you beat maybe the biggest name Magic Johnson? Anthony Davis? LeBron James?" :D:D:D:D:D
