That's a legitimate concern. Bogut can probably handle either Gasol or Randolph fine, but I can definitely see Green struggling against them. Still, I don't see them winning the series.

I think warriors have tons of firepower. But we seen that the Grizzlies, with every team? Has made it hell for them. Gsw will struggle just like all other teams. I say Memphis wins. I really want them to win, it's long due. They've silently been a contender team for the past 3-4 years. They've just had some tough tough competition.

Memphis grind it out style of play will be too much for GS. I think Memphis will win in 7.

GS will double Z-Bo/Marc if necessary and Grizz don't have enough outside shooting to make the Warriors pay ...

bogut's one of the few guys big and strong enough to contend with marc in the post without help. zbo will cause gs problems, but nothing like the problems curry and Thompson will cause Memphis.

Pretty much going exactly as I expected, especially without Conley.

Without Conley, Grizz don't stand a chance. Warriors look unstoppable.

No Conley -> might as well cancel the series to avoid potential injuries...

What a beatdown. Are the Warriors really this good? It's not just their smooth offense, they also play some killer D too.

Anyone hear what the chances of Conley returning are? And if so, what game?

If I remember correctly, I think Mark Jackson said first two games Conley will miss.

Gasol and Randolph played well offensively against the Warriors weaker frontline, but Memphis still lost by 15 points. I'm not so sure that bringing Connelly back is going to solve the huge difference in talent between both squads.

Yeah, the Warriors are just plain better. It's not like the Grizzlies had a bad game:

    Gasol and ZBo were productive.
    Grizzlies shot more FTs.
Their 3pt % was bad, but the rebounding, turnovers and everything else was more or less equal.

They were pretty much losing by 18-20 before the reserves started playing in those final few minutes; +7 FTs and still losing that badly simply shows us that GSW have way too much firepower. They dropped over 30 points on the Grizzlies in the first quarter alone, and Memphis is a tough defensive team. I don't think they are going to get swept, but this is not going to end well for them.

Conley at least gives them a fair shot. Without him, just losses v. GSW. If he can't play, they aren't going to win, period. Granted they might lose anyway, but without him it's not a fair fight.

Conley is such a huge part of this team. He's really gave them a boost, but Conley is down. Just now, Draymond Green might have intentionally hit him in the face.

WTF, wasn't his face already broken? Am going to catch the 2nd half of the game. Hope whatever happened was not intentional and Mike is OK to play again.

Yea, he had facial surgery, but I changed my mind. Lol. It was probably not intentional, but slow motion made me think that. In real-time speed, it looked accidental. He also apologized.

If I'm a Golden State fan I cry foul and say that even if Green didn't mean to touch his face, he knew there would be a great possibility of hurting Conley with that play...

If I'm a Memphis fan I say it's the playoffs and Green is doing everything he can to win.

All in all... Don't get on the court if your face isn't ready! PLAY ON!
