    Thank you! I've been saying this for weeks! Im glad we kept Kuz, but the lakers had ALL the leverage. Lakers blinked first. They should have waited.

    Many people are speculating that including pieces like Hart and an extra pick could likely have been to get them to agree to make this deal go though after free agency, and possibly to get them to not try to make us take back Solomon Hill again.

    Not that specifically, no, but it was on the ESPN ticker around that same time that Woj was saying we’d offer AD a 5 year max projected at $205.3 mil next offseason. He’s not going anywhere, I also posted a video of Rachel Nichols on SC around this same time saying how this wasn’t Rich Paul getting what he wanted like the SC anchor kept saying, but that it was AD getting what HE wanted, he wants to be here.

    A ton of those guys are going to get overpriced, over paid due to so many teams this year having cap space. We all it a few years back then the salary cap jumped up a ton, which everyone remembers allowed the Warriors to sign KD

    Let's simplify this a bit... we just got:
    -the best player we've had since Kobe and Shaq
    -the best big in the game today
    -a top 5 player
    -ENTERING his prime
    -best big Bron's ever had by 100 miles

    He is ours for the next decade if we don't f*** this up. He forced his way here. Wants to be here even with all the dysfunction. After the past handful of years we've had, that's reason to celebrate in the streets.

    I forgive Bron for being Bron, as I said I would, he delivered us AD.

    I don't care about the picks. We bet on ourselves, have as good of a chance as anyone at getting that tier 1 guy in July. With AD and a FA carrying us post Bron era, those picks won't amount to much. And if we lose out on someone in that span, it'll be worth it for a championship + being setup for a decade of contention.

    Before AD, I don't think we were getting anyone. Might not even get the meetings we wanted. With AD here, he can lure you that 3rd guy.

    We had to make a move, especially after dragging the kids through the rumor mill again. We got to keep one of the three kids. That was the goal.

    For NO, they got a good deal. Will be a very young, exciting team for quite awhile. Nice to have competent Griffin there, who's willing to deal.

    Oh yeah...f*** Boston. Ainge, this is for you:

    Malcolm Brogdon in my opinion is just an epic 3rd of 4th option when you have two top 10 players. He can run the offence, elite catch and shoot, elite PnR, good defender, good playmaker - and most of all his game won’t be negatively affected like Chris Bosh or Kevin Love’s did, while he also allows you to sign additional pieces.

    In my opinion, I’d rather Brogdon (15m per) + Green (4m per) + Lopez (8m per) + Seth Curry (4m per) + Ariza (4m per) over just one of Kyrie or Kemba. All those guys can play defence and shoot.
