    Yeah.. Klay would've been a perfect fit, & I'm sure he'll be fine, but I don't think the Lakers are in a rehab for half a Season mode.
    To be honest.. Just get a solid 2 way Guard & fill out the roster from there..
    Any of Kawhi, Kemba, Butler, Kyrie, Klay, or even DLO.. & we're set.
    Vet Min & MLE guys will be lining up to play in LA.

    I’m biased of course but I suspect it’s fluff to make it continue to seem like we got fleeced.

    No one would care if Boston had made the deal. They’d just praise Ainge.

    If they have creative draft pick conditions, such as pick swaps and minimum protections with that, they can elect to only take on the pick if its higher than a certain range. Effectively they would get the best 2 picks from us over the next 7 years.

    Yeah, that’s a lot. Unprotected swaps in the post-Lebron era could be risky.

    Definitely hope that means New Orleans has agreed to wait until August to make the trade official so we can keep a full max.

    Absolutely. The only worry is Lebron’s age. We need to look at signing an Ironman as our third max, because Lebron doesn’t have many years left and AD is injury prone, don’t want to be left with two injury prone stars after Lebron hangs them up.

    That would mean our picks would matter.

    Yeah, typical recovery time for torn ACL's is 6 to 9 months, and a full year to rehab to top form. That doesn't work with Lebron's timeline. And I don't think Klay is realistic at all. He's been on record saying he prefers to stay. He's the type of guy ends his career with one team.

    Kyrie signed with Jay-Z which means NYC is his likely destination. And after failing with the C Bags, I think he wants another shot at leading his own team.

    Kemba has said multiple times that he prefers to stay in Charlotte, and he even said that he's willing to take a slight discount. He's going to stay.

    That leaves us with Kawhi and Butler. I don't care what the media says, those 2 have shown no clear indication of where they want to go. Those 2 should be our target.
