He takes waaaay too many possessions off defensively during the regular season, but for a quarter or needing some stops, Lebron can still be elite.

We will most likely be keeping one of Ingram/Kuzma if we deal with Bulls. They need Lonzo and obviously #4 is involved to get the extra asset for Pelicans. So logically this is what I'm concluding...

I think you would do well to stop taking all these rumors at face value, step back and realize this is all part of how trades work, if it happens it will happen in its own time. There no need to keep going off on people and being so angry and aggressive. We’re all just fans, we all want the Lakers to be better, we’re on the same team, it’s gonna be ok.

lol if you think I’m the aggressive one going off on people.

I stated my opinion and had some guy asking if I’m psychic in a obvious derogatory manner. But if this forum plays favorites then ok...

I was on club lakers since 2004 and have been here since the inception of the site. I love the lakers but you have to keep it real.

Well said @Weezy ! Rumors are rumors for a reason. And while I know much of our fanbase, including me, wants to know a deal has already been secretly agreed upon behind closed doors, that's unfortunately not how it works. Negotiations are dynamic and fragile - and the more players, parties, and interests involved, the easier it is to fall apart.

Here's an analogy: Have you ever tried to plan a vacation, trip, or outing with multiple friends? Everyone has their restrictions, schedules, preferences on where to stay, what they want to do, etc... and the more people that get thrown in the harder it is to actually get it to work out? Now imagine this, but instead of just friends, it's teams who are fiercely competitive with each other, with millions of dollars, peoples jobs, and legacies all on the line.

In less than 30 seconds, this Bulls deal could be washed away and never brought up again. Stay optimistic, but grounded too!

but not too many teams are willing to risk sending much if he says he's going to walk away. Since NO needs to get assets in the return, their offers will be better from us.

Which I completely understand but look at the spurs they could have got much better assets from us but pop refused to trade with us.

I’m getting the same vibes from the pelicans, when the owner says this
    http://nypost.com/2019/05/17/anthon...-happen-over-my-dead-body-pelicans-owner/amp/

That has nothing to do with being psychic...

And that was less then a month ago.

Pop refused to trade with us for better talent and look at them now. Pop and the Spurs can eat (bleep) and die now. Same with the Pacers.

Lakers will get this thing set up now or in 12 months and they will all have to watch the Lakers hold up the title soon enough.

I'm getting cold feet about this trade as this drags out. I was listening to one of the podcasts Weezy posted, and they were mentioning that it's hard to warm up to a team full of imports. I couldn't agree more. It's so much more satisfying as a fan when the core is filled with your 'own' guys ie Kobe, Fisher, Bynum.... and even guys like Sasha and Farmar. As great as Lebron was this past year, I've never really been a fan of the guy and it's been really hard to root for him. I'm not sure how I'd feel about winning the title with Lebron, AD, Butler and a bunch of other imports on the team. That roster would feel so foreign to me. I'm not totally against the trade, but I'm hoping that we hold on to some of our 'own' guys.

That’s why I would love to hold onto BI and Hart. Just to have home grown guys to root for.

Either Woj has gotten soft with his Laker commentary or Rob leaked Zo, BI & #4 to Woj confirmed.

Hey, I’m just offering my friendly advice, that’s all. You already got warned one time this week for telling someone to “stfu”, my advice was to maybe try and relax so you don’t get to that point again, you seem genuinely angry/upset over this trade talk. Also, I really didn’t see OX’s comment as derogatory, that’s just the kind of stuff he says, he’s really a softie I’m sure, he’s just playing a character half the time, plus it’s yhe internet, if you’ve been around since CL 2004 you should know not to take this stuff so seriously by now. *shrug*.

That’s what it seems like, it just would be such a pleasant surprise if it’s Ingram that we keep over Kuzma. I do like Kuz but I’d see him as a solid role player on a championship team. Ingram in my eyes is more of someone who I think could be seen as part of a “Big 3” as soon as next year at the rate he’s been improving.

Like in that rumored Chicago deal, it surprises me that New Orleans wouldn’t just demand Ingram over Kuzma in that same framework. I guess there’s a chance that they like Ingram but not enough to want to deal with his restricted free agency next year.

Bruh I didn't mean the STFU thing I was just playing a character also. And the dude just said he wants the spurs to eat d*** and die. Isn’t that kind of the definition of angry? Bottom line is I’m 39 years old and love the lakers and just want them to be successful. The best memories of my childhood is Nick, Cedric and Eddie in the playoffs. They never won a chip but god damn they were exciting.

I’m not begging for banners, I just want them to be exciting again and in the playoffs. And I just don’t have a lot of faith in Jeanie as a owner and the Rambi twins shadow owing the team. I hope rob can prove me wrong.

Ingram would be a great 3b to Lebron, AD, max FA wing in the mold of Iggy on the warriors. Uber important glue guy who can facilitate and/or drop 25 when needed while playing good defense.

I can tell you with basically absolute certainty that it's the latter based on what I've heard about the Lakers FO these last few months.

If we walk away with Lebron, AD, and Ingram...that is the best possible scenario. Ingram is my favorite of the kids. Damn. This is a scenario where signing Kemba makes sense...a lot of sense.

The reddit rumored 3 team deal with the Bulls makes Chicago look like big winners too.

Chicago essentially gives up Lavine, #7 for Lonzo, #4 and a expiring contract (Solomon Hill).

Lavine isn’t that good, he’s a more athletic Austin Rivers. Lonzo by himself has more value than Lavine... plus they can move up in the draft too lol
