Maybe this is why Lee was brought in ..... damage control if things went south?

I honestly believe he’s gonna leave. He is a legend for helping bring Toronto a championship. I think he’s like Kobe in the sense of wanting to create a brand and to really cash in on his success... make as much money as he can.

That actually doesn’t sound a ton better, though it does fix the quote. Still, “the Raptors could build on”, “get them to the Finals their first year”. He threw in a ‘we’ and an ‘our’, but it still feels very detached and noncommittal.

If Kawhi stays , Raptors should make an offer for AD centered around Siakam imo

Dude is king of the world now and it's his coming out party as the main man in bringing a good city with good fans their 1st championship. I can't see him walking away.

Maybe he should though if they can't keep a young enough and good enough team around him going forward. Ring chasers yes but key FAs wanting to go to frigid Toronto to play there? Guess we'll see. If not Lakers, far better there than rumored all season the Clippers.

Why isn't Pop and the Spurs being murdered more for letting him go? I mean fk the Lakers got sh** for letting DLO go cause he played great in Fn brooklyn. All season it's Lakers let this guy go. Hell every Laker that ever got shipped and did anything we heard it. This guy literally brought a Championship to a team that has done nothing but choked over the last 5 million (maybe less) years and you wouldn't even know he was a Spur. This is funny.

On Topic, this dude is now King of Canada (outside of anything Hockey).

It would not shock me at all if he decided to leave.

With that said, we need to make sure we get AD so that we make the decision easier for Kawhi to come to us and NOT the Clippers (especially since the two other guys that the Clippers were considering just went down with season-ending catastrophic injuries!)

But I kinda hope Kawhi stays...we need to make sure there's somebody from the East to stop whoever is coming out of the West because I don't want the Rockets, Nuggets, or some other whack a** team winning it all!
