    or he could know stuff. like the bulls and suns are currently bidding on lonzo to see which package better satisfies NO/LAL.

    Ok. A deal MUST be close if this is coming out from Woj (Griff mouthpiece).

    I think we know that both Ingram and Ball are gone. They want us to give Zo to PHX or CHI and extract assets from them to make it happen.

    With PHX, we can do Zo for TJ Warren and 6th pick OR Zo for Josh Jackson and 6th pick.

    With CHI, we can do 7th pick + Lavine or 7th pick + Porter for Zo and work that into a 3-team deal? And IF chicago was open to it...maybe Markannen + 7th for Zo or Wendell Carter + 7th for Zo?

    We basically need to be talking to all of these teams right now on how we can make it work and see if Pels will bite on any of these packages.

    With the draft in only 10 days (!!!), I think Griff is going to want a deal agreed upon like 5 days prior to the draft...maybe even earlier!

    Time to turn up the gas...buckle up everyone

    Lol yea my gut feeling is Phoenix ends up being the guys who we work with. They have a lot of shiny turds to throw in a Lonzo package that can Jedi Mind Trick the Pelicant's into thinking they got a half-decent haul.

    I would send this to Griffin and tell him to choose 2 from tier 1, choose 1 from tier 2 and whatever you want from tier 3.

    Plus 2 future unprotected 1st round draft picks. I think that's fair to me.

    phx is the likely partner, imo. chicago won't include markannen or carter to get zo, so you're left with dunn or valentine or hutchinson. not needle-movers.

    phx can add warren or jackson (pels can choose which they want) to the #6 to get ball.

    ingram/4/6/jackson/future 1st it's not what griffin wants, but it's a pretty serious package.

    I don’t think there is a chance New Orleans wants John Wall and his god awful contract. This is a team that has been losing money since the beginning of time. If AD can’t put butts in the seats, no way Wall can. If Washington trades him for just their pick, it will be the steal of the century.

    If a third Team is not involved, it will most likely be 3 from tier one. Definitely not my preference, but unfortunately I don't think anything less is realistic.

    Sadly this looks like a deal that would get it done for sure. But as Pete suggests in the rest of the tweet thread the Lakers need to move on and not just give in. But they likely will at some point unfortunately.
