There's only 2 days between games 3 and 4, but 3 days the other games. Because of that, they erred on the side of caution because of the short turnaround for game 4. Probably a wise move. They can come back from 1-2, but they won't win if they don't have him the rest of the series most likely.

Curry has been amazing but he's out of gas at the middle of the 4Q.

Disappointing showing on D for Golden State. Toronto got good looks all night.

Meh, if GS gets Durant and Klay back for game 4 or 5 they can still win. I’m honestly not sure who I’m even rooting for. After hearing Stephen A Smith (I know, grain of salt) say Durant will stay if GS loses the series and leave if they win, I want him to leave, the league needs to be opened up to more teams already, this 12 year old 2K roster stuff needs to stop. Raptors are likable, but if they lose, maybe Kawhi leaves, if they win, maybe he still leaves having brought them a goodbye title. I’m really reaching here, I don’t even know.

Predictable as Looney and Klay are 2 of their best 5 defenders

Been seeing this joke going around with various pics, not gonna lie, it makes me laugh. I’ve hated on LeBron for many years, but I genuinely have stayed impressed that he took GS to 6 games in 2015 without Kyrie and Love for almost all of it, playing with a roster of Thompson, Mozgov, Dellavedova, Shumpert, JR Smith, James Jones ans Mike Miller.

GSW needs at least one of Klay or KD to come back somewhat operational to have a chance. Curry went off and got no help at all. An engaged Marc can take Boogie out of it.

Boogie not helping his FA marketability right now. I know he's not in game shape, but sheesh his energy level was really pathetic.

I doubt KD will be back. Let alone, be in any sort of game shape after how long he's been out. Look at Boogie, he looks slow out there.

Klay is going to be tricky because it's a hamstring sprain. Those just don't heal overnight, even for the best of athletes. The slightest pull will really put him out of commission, but they're really in a do or die situation next game, he'll have to try.

if you're gs, do you hold both guys out until game 5, just to give yourself the most possible rest/put the choke pressure on toronto?

You have to play Klay if he’s healthy enough to go IMO. Curry and Klay can still get you a title, but Curry alone likely doesn’t. Can’t afford to throw away titles here, this could be the end of the Warriors dynasty as we know it if Durant leaves, have to go for the 3-peat now, 4 titles in 5 years also sounds really good looking back at a player’s legacy.

I often wonder how much sleep Draymond loses knowing his nut shot probably cost them 5 straight.

He seems to lack that level of self-awareness to me, or he’d have stopped kicking guys in the crotch mid-season. Also, he could probably reason, rightly so, that Durant doesn’t go to GS if they win the Finals that year. So we’re likely looking at the Rockets or Thunder or both winning a title the last 2 seasons.
