You did say call, my bad sorry, I didn't read good. Just looking out for some of our more sensitive members and don't want to see their good nature taken advantage of again.

We were scammed for a short period of time couple years ago. Had a very active member die on us. Except he didn't and he came back under another name till he got busted and banned. Pretty low down dirty rotten behavior. So the spidey senses tingle sometimes amongst us.

Nope Gumby was the real deal. Trevor Ariza's agent who joined a week or two prior to him being signed and started giving insider sounding posts pointing to that was going to be happening without saying who he was actually. Just that he had good info it was coming. An athletic wing defender with offensive game we had been needing forever. People got real excited real quick.

Don't know. I do remember Guru's sig was "Better than you" and he lived in MN. Had like 30,000 posts when I joined in I think 2005. Couldn't believe someone would post that much. Didn't even know such a thing as a Lakers forum existed. Was just searching on line for info on the rumors we were maybe going to sign Kwame Brown.

My legal guardians would read me forum posts to fall asleep actually. If I wasn’t tired, they would just read an essay by Vasashi or therealdeal. Worked every time.

My favorite posters always posted funny pictures. I remember Guru posting chicken little sky is falling pictures

I was always so jealous of his Christmas presents because my foster parents were poor. But we were all loved and were grounded. And his dream homes, dang.

I remember them reading religious debates between Christians like @John3:16 and Satan to me before bed. That was always fascinating. And I liked that one guy I always remember as Soda ( @SOAD )? Hope I get an amazing beard like that one day like he had at 16.

But my favorite of all time was that emo guy Chicano.
