    Pelicans getting Zion is worst case for us. Hell, even if they got two, we would've been good. Could've given them 4 and they could've packaged that with their pick and they could've tried to get Zion that way.

    I guess at least this keeps Knicks from getting AD.

    I’m pretty sure he is expected to meet with David Griffin in a week and that he’s supposed to tell him that he still wants to be traded. Obviously Zion could change his mind but I don’t see it, maybe we could use the #4 pick in a package to land AD. But it would take away a max slot

    I would have liked the #3 pick cause we can then reroute RJ to the Pels to make Zion happy (y'all see him on ESPN...dude was not happy and non-committal to the Pels...kept saying he still does not know how draft night will shake out ie draft day trades). So the Knicks could reroute #3 (Barrett) to the Pels.

    Also what if the Pels trade Zion to bring in a star to pair with AD to keep his a** in Nawlins?

    As of right now, Shams says AD still wants out. So we still good unless the Knicks do something desperate.

    Our FO is a mess; at this point, though, we need another piece going into next summer; and Davis is perfect.

    Amazing day. Pelicans can rebuild with some of our youngsters and #4. Give us AD. He NEEDS to get it out there that he wants to be in LA.

    Makes sense. If AD maintains his demand, Pels probably won’t be as pushy since they already have a franchise cornerstone.

    I still don’t think it makes sense to absorb AD into our cap space before free agency.

    i'm hearing ainge will pick up the phone if NO comes strong with AD and zion for tatum, but may press for sweeteners.

    meanwhile, the lakers have offered the #4 pick for jared dudley, but sean marks refuses to talk to pelinka.

    I legitimately don't know if Tatum is better than Kuzma.

    If we get outbid, I'll be shocked. Tatum cannot be that highly regarded. He has a Carmelo type career written all over him. Not saying Kuzma is definitely better than that, but it's not like the difference between the two is monumental.
