If Kyrie comes, Lakers have to trade ball and their young guys for AD. The dynamics would be just like it was in Boston.

Kyrie, Lebron and AD are title contenders and likely winning the title next year.

Kyrie is not coming. We got our "K" in Kidd, time to move on and endure some more sucking.

One Western exec thinks Simmons for Bron might be explored.

Lue and Bron to philly. Ben and Jimmy to LA. If Bron was about basketball still, I could see it. That's not what he's here for and because of that, we're stuck in this arranged marriage.

It's amazing to me that all these leaks and rumors about just what the Lakers would entertain with LeBron or how upset they were with Klutch over the AD fiasco and how much they do NOT want too much LeBron in the organization .... that I'd think it has to be at least somewhat insulting to Klutch and Him. I guess. Lue got insulted, why wouldn't the biggest ME guy in the league get insulted. Throw a tent over this circus. But then I read the article and could also see how maybe that might be something that was not objectionable to all parties. If Bron like JSM says was still about basketball which he feels LBJ's not. Would Butler get paid way too much?

I wouldn’t trade Lonzo for Simmons. But for Simmons AND a sign and trade Butler, yeah, LeBron could be had for that.

Our shooting would actually somehow get even worse from this season.

I'd do it for Simmons, Harris (S&T) and a future first round pick.

Roll out Lonzo, Ingram, Harris, Kuzma and Simmons....the all forward lineup with one guard....lulz

But seriously...I'd do Simmons for LeBron in a heartbeat...he's 22 and fits our young core timeline way better...and he's already got playoff experience.

I'm excited to see what LeBron James can do with a full offseason to recover and train! I vote we keep him, improve the roster, and make some noise in the West this year! I miss the Staples playoff atmosphere

No reason to get rid of Lebron. I understand the frustration, but we can't get CLOSE to equal value for him, and he is the ONLY shot we have at attracting any impact free agent. If Kawhi comes, it's going to be because of Lebron. Kawhi ain't coming to play next to Ball and Ingram. If we trade for AD, it is because of Lebron.

Of course, well unless they all get hurt... which... they seem to do a lot.

I dont think Vogel is a bad hire, but I dont think he is the guy that can take us to an elite level before LBJ's inevitable decline starts. If there was anyone available who might have been able to do that, it was probably Messina.

Why does everyone assume that just because you coached under the Popovich tree that you would make a fantastic NBA head coach?

Mike Brown is a Pop disciple. Jim Boylan is as well. Vinny Del Negro, Avery Johnson, Jacque Vaughn, need I go on? Messina is an interesting candidate, but who knows if he would actually be a great NBA coach. He could be terrible a la Mike Brown.
