When I battle Savs it's a slaughter and maybe the shear fright of the experience reminds you of Halloween...or maybe it's just Savs sleepy & hollow rebuttals...who knows.

I just refer dude to all things orange...like having that terrible combover to conceal that bald dimpled peel of his...being a small man with tiny hands and trying to be extra bigly on Twitter to compensate for it...trying to put-in work but won't provide his tax returns...making the public sick with toxic saturations of Vitamin KKK.

When it comes to Savs, maybe LTs onto something. We've focused way too much on the o'range in Jack-o'-lantern, when we've should have been like LT and focused on the Jack part.

Speaking of a**, Kawhi's going to continue to light the proc-ess up!

...I'll now see myself out and attempt to remain off the grid.

are the Lakers the s***ty one? lol......I realize Leonard makes decision no one expects (turning down super max from Spurs) but common sense would suggest Tor, he gets to be the man, he's on a contender, and #1 he doesn't have to deal with media and LA media in particular. Honestly if he does come, it makes the FO/Jeanie look like they're doing things right, when they're truly NOT, its more of a default reasoning (being home), just like James coming for non bball related things.

It’s obvious he’s been juicing, so he’s an orange

If you have ever seen me, you know I'm not juicing. Not a lot of bulk on me.

yeah, i just think kawhi wants to live in southern california and play professional basketball for a lot of money. but in truth, i have no insight into his character, so i'm flying as blind as anyone else. i actually think his robotic nature makes him less concerned about the la media than others might be. he honestly seems like he does not care if you like him or not. so many of these other guys are clearly trying to be liked, and i think it's one of the reasons they have a hard time leaving teams in FA.

I agree with Leonard not caring bout being liked or whatevers.....I want him here as well but feels like mgmt/Jeanie could easily be absolved of their stupidity/incompetence IF they managed to sign him, we all know it wont be because we doing things right and they can still clearly F things up with the rest of the roster like they did last season.

They will be completely absolved. Lebron + Kawhi + Another year of development for Ingram and Lonzo...that team is a title contender.

but they shouldn't be and we all know they're more than capable of even F'ing up a team with Leonard/Lebron.

i mean...unless lonzo gets hurt and we fill out the rest of the roster with the absolute worst-fitting pieces ever.

stuff like that, though...it's just so rare.

If we sign Kawhi, I'd be willing to bet anything Kuzma is gone in some sort of package to land a third star. Not AD level, but closer to Beal level. Would not be surprised to see us trade Kuzma and Ingram...maybe our pick as well for Beal. Then...then we sign Melo.

I’m not sure I can see any scenario where we sign Melo. Just don’t see the fit.

If I’m a vet looking for another contract, and I now see how Lance, and whoever else we had look so bad, not so sure I’m considering the Lakers either.

I suppose we could blame that on the former coach though. Bad rotations and misusing players. Clearly KCP is an all star talent that was mishandled. At least based on how we paid him.

The scenario is Lebron and Kawhi as your forwards with Melo as the 3/4 off the bench since Ingram and Kuz went out to get Beal. Lonzo/Beal/Kawhi/Lebron/Deandre Jordan? Melo and Hart off the bench.

    Can Kawhi sign a 1+1?

If he does, does it give us the ability to re-sign Kawhi AND AD (when he's an FA) the following summer?

The front office will spin it to vets that it was the coach.

    Unfortunately no.

But if AD opts in (2020/21 player option) and uses the Cp3 route, we can trade for him in 2020 with his bird rights in tow and give him a 35% max 5yr deal the summer of 2021.

We can do this by using a drastic measure in that all our guys other than Bron and Kawhi can be renounced, leaving roughly 30m in cap space next summer. AD can threaten to walk into that or opt-in and get traded for talent heading back in the form of a package around Zo and/or BI.

Sounds like we actually WILL have cap space from what you just told me just not the exact MAX but we'll have enough to threaten the Pelicans or ANY team that trades for him...

I think it'll be difficult to do a S&T with Ingram being a restricted free agent...would be interested to see how we can pull that off but yeah sounds like we got some options one we get Kawhi...

Kawhi is the kind of guy who needs chaos in his life, I'm sure he wants to go to the worst ran team after being in great Front Offices all his career :Kobe Snickering:
