yeah, it's both. denver is a nominal 2 seed. they're really a 6/7/8, imo. not built for the playoffs. pop's team is less talented, but not by as much as people think. aldridge and derozan were both allstar caliber this year, whereas denver had jokic alone in that category. i think murray is overrated, particularly as a second option on a playoff team. after that, each squad has a bevy of interesting but limited role players that each coach has worked wonders with, imo. malone did a great job coaching that team this year (and last, really). they're just not as good as their record indicates.
I’m not really watching the games though, because when I try I spend the entire time wanting to punch Murray in the face, and that’s not enjoyable.
Forbes and white are classic spurs finds. We'd kill for Forbes as a backup guard. Got Stephenson, though.
DeRozan 1-10 in the first half of a game 7, shocker. Denver should win, they did earn the 2 seed, they’re more talented than SA, and they have the thin air homecourt advantage.
Nuggets barely got by alive against demar and Aldridge, and a bunch of g-leaguers... they are going to get destroyed by Portland
Glad to see the Spurs getting dumped out. I guess the players didn't hear Petty Pop's screams for foul at the end.
DeRozan is such a bargain-bin all-star. Great regular seasons, meh playoffs, I don’t even care if his numbers look decent or consistent, he needs to be the 3rd guy on a title team to have any real success.
Toronto looks different without playoff choker Derozan, Kawhi is deadly out there and Siakim is playing put of his mind. Denver squeaked by Spurs here, don’t think they have it in them to beat the Blazers though. Hoping Blazers get to the Finals though because they have an easier road, Warriors and Rockets gonna go be a battle.
