Honestly I hate Pelinka but I'm hating Jeanie even more...

Miss plastic fantastic needs to deal with stuff that she cares about and understands like plastic surgeries, shopping and expensive vacations.

We don't need low iq playmates running billion dollar companies. GTFO.

Good bye, thanks for everything and i wish him luck with the queens,
just scared that we will make some dumb move and even downgrade our coach position, considering how many head scratching moments we just had recently

I went on a Queen's forum, and from what I can gather, some of the players on the team and Joeger had a rift going on. So even though Joeger did a great job coaching the team to a W-L record most pundits didn't think they could do, he apparently caused friction among some of the players in the process. They mention that Buddy Hield, Marvin Bagley, and Troy Williams were especially upset at him.

Keep in mind that Vlade and Luke were teammates during Vlade's last season in 2004-2005. So there's trust there. And Luke has a reputation of being somebody that players like. So it appears that Vlade is trying to avoid a mutiny that might occur if Joeger stayed on.

Good for Luke, hope it works out. Will be interesting to watch for sure though, if the Kings take a step forward or backwards with that quality young core, if Luke can actually coach. If he flourishes we might have some answers about how bad our org is really hindering the actual product on the court.

Happy for Luke. He stays in California, gets to coach a young team, i think he'll do just fine.
All teams making moves and decisions, while Jeanie is twiddling her thumbs, letting Pelinka destroy what's left of the Lakers.

But ... but .... Vlade .... due diligence man. He probably wanted to make sure before Phoenix went after him. Allegedly. LOL .... calling it now their offense will be more entertaining to watch than our LeLakers brand. And he will do better than Joerger with them.

    Congrats Luke and good luck.

Vlade had issue with Coach Joerger going at members in the FO.. well, it won't be as direct this time. Enjoy the leaks.

Luke is a solid coach. But we need someone who will help us improve at a pace that we can be a title contender. I think Luke will get there but I don't think he can get there soon. He's got some ways to go. His rotation policies frankly suck. He's not creative on offense either

Congrats Luke. I really wish him the best. He wasn’t the right coach for us at this point, but I do believe he will do well with the Kings.

I agree with what you wrote. I would say that he had a very flawed roster and dealing with the political environment of the Lakers led to a perception of some of the things you mentioned. I don’t think he’s as bad as some people say but he does have a good way to go.

The toughest thing in sports and basically in life is the ability to connect with people. He clearly excels in that area and I believe he will develop into a solid to good coach given the right environment. With the Kings the pressure will be minimal.

Wouldn’t it be funny if the Kings went after Randle or DLO?
