Well, if Lakers are sad about losing Randle and Russell, they are free agents. They can go get them back. Key is now is to pull your pants up and handle the situation and make sure you are prepped for July 1.
It’s a little different though because Randle could have been had for 12 mil per, and Russell might get max money now where if he were with us and our own rookie free agent the money situation and how he fits into the cap I believe isn’t quite the same. Like you can-sign free agents and then RE-sign your own guys, go over the cap and just pay luxury tax.
Lakers would eventually have to pay Randle this summer anyway, as well as Russell. The main thing is, can the Lakers stop running the same BS program that hasn't worked for years.
