It's pile on time it seems regarding the front office this 2018-19 season. Totally fine by me because even in keeping the goals they allegedly had for this season, playoffs and attract FAs and build, allegedly, they could have achieved ALL of that while keeping the best of the young talent we have. Starting in January 2018 and putting some sense into their treatment of Randle. Double standard. He gets in best shape of all of them per Tragic's edict ..... ".05"% and is rewarded with being sent to the bench to start the season. And then whenever Trag and Rob were throwing glowing press interviews about their core of young talent he's virtually never mentioned. I'm a proud resident now until proven to me otherwise of these guys .....

Mag is out of frame left here with Jeanie since she apparently green lighted the AD cluster**** goings on.

I mean, good move - but it happened to late. Anyway, Bron has been deactivated, so let's go lose some games while we can.

LT, you reaching bro...Jules wasn't treated like some pariah from our FO. Unless there's a report out there that the FO mandated a minutes restriction on Jules, how is Jules not getting playing time on the FO?

    Rob on Jules:
    Magic on Jules:
Notice Magic stating how he wants to add to the roster. We extended a QO to Jules...did we not?

Never cheat the game, bro, respect the basketball gods. Except for one week trips to Miami for MJ’s secret stuff, that’s ok.

Those are good quotes. I just remember and was of similar opinion with numerous others here that often he was not mentioned when they were talking of the going forward nucleus. I could be mistaking this from the way you treated him .... :giggle: ;)

Hindsight is 20/20 but it looks like the Lakers overshot their targets. They went for the big fish and got him, the issue is, that big fish is in a pond with no other fish. Therefore, there is no food for that fish to live.

Lakers had the talent through great drafting and would have likely got Paul George had they went to him first and said, we want you to be the Franchise player with the likes of Randle, BI, Russell and Lonzo. Unfortunately, the Lakers as a hole, and fans too, we didnt help either, couldnt be patient, and the Lakers traded or let go of youth and progressing talent and here they are, hoping they can make it all up with one player. All this is will hurt worse if they do not end up with AD. That's the current position.

magic got too caught up in acquiring lebron to realize how many glaring holes there were in the roster. he figured lebron is all it took to get back to the playoffs, completely ignoring the lack of shooting and rebounding

its incredible how it never crossed the FO's mind that not having a single 3 pt shooter on the team would be a major issue

Comedic mismanagement. Games wasted if you’re going for development or draft position. Did James suddenly become worse? He said he wouldn’t shut it down unless hurt. After he was hurt. Hmm.

Also, career low games. The end is coming.

Frankly, a lot of it has been mismanagement by everybody on this team and this organization. I don’t know how comedic it’s been, but... I still have hope for this summer.

I’m just imagining Magic like, “We gotta make room. Let’s call about Zubac.” First call, bad deal.

You'd think it couldn't be...and then you hear more about Magic as GM.

So, he's done for the season? We probably have 1 more year of a very good player left, and that's a wrap. Better make this summer count...

I said this in the tank thread on March 23rd. I just don't get what took so long. We certainly could have moved down a couple spots.

That’s not new information though, it’s just aggregated stuff from the original McMenamin article from like Friday. Same as the info that LeBron apparently came back from his groin injury while it was still giving him discomfort. Whether I believe THAT bit, or I think it’s largely LeBron spin to make him look more valiant in such a disappointing season, I’m not sure.

We did not extend a QO to Jules. So all the talk and quotes were meaningless in the long run. And to be fair about the no offer thing, the guy didn't want to be here by all accounts so why bother. Another Aaron Mintz product.

I think the talk about him coming back early from his injury is BS. It’s just an excuse for why he looked so bad.
