Y'all guys are on crack if you think LeBron has no trade value. Even though I'm upset with LeBron, I'm gonna give him and the fo one off season of Klutch recruiting and see what happens.

So many good things could happen this off season as well as improvement from our own key players.

Right now tanking and praying we get the number 1 pick would be the beginning. Second if we luck out and get one of the K's in Kawhi, KD, Kyrie, Klay, Kemba. Second build a f***ing team, no more 1 year contracts. Get players that play defense and can hit the damn 3 point shot.

That’s just bad/lazy reporting. First, it appears like it’s somehow separate from that silly report that Jeanie considered trading LeBron, which was written by that hack Ric Bucher. It’s not though, it’s a second article using that article as a source for clicks. And second, some anonymous execs talking down LeBron’s trade value should be taken seriously why? Are we to expect anonymous execs to say “oh yeah, I would trade everything we have for LeBron”? That’s just stupid, and not how this sort of thing works. Lastly we aren’t trading LeBron so everyone might as well get used to him. It would be an awful look for us and for him, shipping out the one star who did choose us in free agency in like 22 years after only one season, and a stain on his legacy as a guy who couldn’t cut it on the league’s best franchise (sorry C Bags, the 60’s were friggin’ forever ago and you had stacked decks). This could still all work out should we be able to trade for AD and sign a 3rd 2nd tier star, and I’m not even one of the optimistic people around here. There’s one offseason left for this to be turned around immediately, and if not, there’s STILL one offseason for AD to come here as a free agent even if LeBron is too old by then, it’s still a positive for us in the end.

Well, I thought he had 2 more years left; he's still a great talent, but he needs help.

When you can't blow by people at the rate he usually does, the FT's start to become an issue, you can start putting 2+2 together...

He’s not old. He’s just not that skilled. And he doesn’t need more help. He’s the same as he’s always been. I have been saying this for years and so many people thought I was hatin’ or jealous.

This video breaks it down. Now I’m not a numbers guy, but this guy is. No idea who he is, but he popped up in my feed. It’s fairly long, but if you really want to know the truth, you’d watch it to the end.

This is pretty interesting. He exposes Lebron as:

    • Low skill scorer that scores 67% of his points inside 10’ and from FT line.
    • Embarrassing stats on anything midrange or pull-up
    • Exposing stats on effort both offensively and defensively
    • Opportunistic rebounder trading poor coverage for rebound positioning. Averages over 8 rpg but only 2.5 box outs per game. Shameful effort
    • Inflated assist numbers by holding the ball while teammates do the work to get open
    • Horrible conversion rates in isolation on both offense and defense. Scored on like a sieve, and low conversion on offense. If he can’t create a layup or open 3, he basically sucks.

That and he looks to still be injured IMO. There’s no reason to play him IMO but he’s kind of in a lose lose right now. He’ll get killed even more if he sits.

All the doom and gloom aside, I think he’s got two years left. He can still fill up a stat sheet. He can’t carry us though.

If we build a team this works itself out.
