    Interesting fact:

The 2012-13 Los Angeles Lakers and the 2018-19 Lakers both had a 29-30 record after 59 games.

The then 34-year-old Kobe Bryant lead the team to the playoffs, finishing with a record of 45-37.

Can a 34-year-old LeBron James do the same?

I would bet no, because I don’t think LeBron would push himself until his achilles snapped. Which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, it’s probably smarter to ease off on this seaon and hope to come into next seaon with a better roster and a 2nd star. Even if we do make the playoffs this seaon we’re a one and done, or 2nd round team at best if we got the 7th seed.

Sorry. You can't call out a team's sense of urgency when the entire team (and civilized world for that matter) knows you and your crew tried to trade every freaking one of their butts to the s***hole that is New Orleans...for a single player. Would it have been the right move to make from a basketball perspective? Yes. But you can't pretend these players are NBA 2k computer simulations and will not react to being actively pushed out the door by the so called team leader. A team leader who announced that playoff mode had been activated (essentially telling the world that he wasn't trying for the first 2/3's of the season).

And to reiterate what everyone else who noticed, Ingram and Kuz are working their tails off out there. It's KCP, Rondo, Lance and the vets who have been wildly inconsistent with their effort. Especially Kuz is trying. He has shown up to play no matter what. We were getting hammered by Philly and Kuz was trying to keep us in the game by himself when EVERYONE had turned it in for the night.

    f*** LeBron James.

I hoped I'd warm up to him, after he is a Laker. I hate him even more now.

3 more years of this b*******. 3 more f***ing years.

He’s exactly who I thought he was and feared he’d be. At least last year’s team was fun to watch. We’ll be lucky if this Lebron led team will net us a +10 gain on last year’s 35 win team.

Lebron is a petulant child who covers his entitlement and narcissism with schools for the underprivileged and being a good family man. Here's a little info for those who don't get it. Doing those things should not be a reward. When you choose to be a family man, you are SUPPOSE to be supportive and take care of your kids and be a good husband. Getting a pat on the back for that is stupid. And when you worth 400 million dollars, well, yes, you know where i am going with that.

The issue with Lebron isn't who he is, it's the fact that he tries to act like he isn't a piece of s*** to people. See, at least with Kobe, Kobe didnt like anyone. He didnt hide it. He has said it publicly. He is who he is and there's a difference when you know vs when someone is trying to jerk your chain and you know he or she is.

You seem to be angry and too emotionally invested in LeBron. It's not good.

I don't hate LeBron, I just hate his demanding ways, he thinks it's always about him and his feelings. He's supposedly a team guy, but in reality it's always about him him him. That's what I can't stand about him. At least Kobe was blunt and honest, put all his love and passion into the game. Outside forces was always secondary for him.

Ox as much as I agree with you on Jules, my gawd...you're all over the radar here.

You support Kob and trash Bron cause they're SUPPOSED to be good husbands that take care of their kids. Its their personal lives and its only public domain cause they chose to become public figures. Kawhi is a basketball player...but how much do we really know about the guy?

So what we do know about Kob is he wasn't a good husband...its neither here nor there if Vanessa was a good wife, but in terms of just Kob, the MambaMentality ain't always a good thing. In May, you can let the Mamba out in Denver...but in the offseason...maybe not.

Also, credit to Kob, but in a tell-all interview, he feels his indiscretions led to Vanessa miscarrying...and supposedly it was a boy. He's a good father and does take care of his kids...but in that one isolated event...maybe not.

I'm not here to trash Kob though. In terms of basketball, I appreciate that MFer more than anyone. Its his MambaMinions that I couldn't stand....and in terms of your post Ox...its the hypocrisy I can't stand.

Bron is a guy that is doing what he's SUPPOSE to do as a family man. But as a rich guy...he's not SUPPOSE to donate, be philanthropic and raise awareness towards causes that he supports. Michael Jordan never did that to the degree of Bron with the spotlight he had. But then again, he wasn't SUPPOSE to. That was MJ's choice. But Bron's work off the court should be applauded and if you don't want to, that's your business, but don't undermine it.

As far as Bron dictating terms because he's a "me" guy. Okay, I can see that...but not to the extreme as some of you do. Before pen hit paper, Bron could have made the Lakers sell the youth for anybody of his choosing. He could have made the Lakers trade the damn lot of them before he committed for 4 years. Instead...not even a maybe...he didn't.

There are some that wouldn't trade the farm for AD....but most of you would have. That is not on Bron....that is cause the franchise is starving for stars and to be relevant again. If Bron really wanted to put his GM hat on....AD would be here and LA would be out 8 future lottery picks. Maybe it still happens....but as of now, it hasn't and Bron didn't force LA into anything it didn't want to do.

LeBron has triple double with 24 points. 12 rebounds and 11 assists. Also LeBron missed couple of FT , shoot air ball at clutch , and was 0 for 4 for three points shots
