I don’t like this dude, I just don’t. It’s not Dwight Howard dislike, he’s way better than that clown, I just don’t like how he plays, the lack of urgency, the lack of heart. I was spoiled, I saw what a Kobe Bryant led team looked like for so many years, and even when we sucked that dude gave us every ounce he had, played with his finger in a friggin cast, his face in a mask, his shoulder wrapped up, til his body broke. It’s really hard for me to see a LeBron led team, now without benefit of playing in the East, and be impressed or even have admiration, it’s just meh.

They had a chance to trade him at the deadline. AD and Randle for Lebron would have worked. That would have given us Kawhi Leonard in the summer too.

LeBron came with a false promise from magic and Rob. He probably thought with all the cap space he would build him the perfect team, but the truth is we are young and the vets we brought in are playing scared and unpolished. We should have went after shooters and defense but instead we went for the meme team

as glorious that would be it would be a major blow to the lakers rep around the league and basically ensure that no big name FA's would sign with us for years

guy signs in LA to close out his career and help kickstart his post-bball life and he gets traded? no one would want to play for the lakers if that happened (which it never would)

LeBron shouldn’t be traded and won’t be.

We’ve been awful for years. LeBron is the only reason we had a shot at the playoffs this year.

He’s had bad games and coasted out there sometimes which is frustrating.

But no, this has been a dumpster fire for several seasons. I can’t put the blame on him.

Better coaching and this team makes the playoffs. We need a better constructed team and a guy on the sidelines who knows how to utilize guys.

yeah. we had to basically cut beasley (actually, we lost a good young player getting rid of him). stephenson has hurt more than helped is almost unplayable at this point. rondo's been a s*** show for the second half of the season, and mcgee lost steam after 20 games.

kuz, ingram, and ball have been pretty solid throughout, and hart's had good and bad moments.

the vets have been the problem, by and large.

edit: don't get me started on kcp, his play, and the likely reasons we've dumped 30 million on him the past two years.

    ^to sum it up:

Magic and Pelinka are the problem. Their horrible roster planning in the summer along with their fiasco at the deadline gave the team the nail in the coffin.

    Thank you for nothing.

BTW Luke gets blame as well as he is for sure consulted on these moves. He also was a proponent for Deng, Mozgov, Bogut and some other dead wood signings. He is just as terrible as the front office in roster construction.

Please get Bob Myers and fire these 3 goons.

yea, it's as if they had tunnel vision on all-stars and lost sight of everything else. we've had opportunities to build a competitive roster (not necessarily all the bells and whistles of showtime yore), but squandered them, leaving us with this ragtag crew at the threshold of hell.

we are not going to the playoffs -- that is a fact at this point. unfortunately, we are also in no-man's land from a tanking perspective, but if we shut down lebron and lonzo, it could be a fruitful endeavor.

Lebron is who we thought he was. A narcissist who cares about his stats, brand and persona. Since getting here, he or his people have wanted to trade or fire most of the team/coach. He’s too busy blaming everyone else to care about his total lack of defense, missing free throws and turning the ball over on a regular bases. Our team has a ton of issues but as a leader you look at yourself first.

OK ,I get it , kids are killing his legacy and tired of compare him to Kobe. But LeBron should score 40 or 50 points if necessary to win , like Westbrook or Harden doing it,and he's just not capable of doing that every game.

You would think executives with their fingers closer to the pulse of things would have known better. I told everyone in here, AD needed to chill and not demand a trade. We have seen how that has worked out the last decade. The second you ask to be traded and the Lakers are a destination, the league f***s this team. Lebron's team controlled all that and it blew up in their face just like I thought it would. And worse, a nice guy like AD will have to answer the questions and I hope he doesnt turn into another Kevin Durant with his thin skinned b****ing.

Lakers, if they are smart, WAIT for AD to be a free agent now. Stop with the trading b*******. THEY WILL NOT MAKE A FAIR DEAL WITH YOU. f*** everyone and f*** Lebron. Focus now is keep the young guys and get AD in 2020. That's your goal. That's the goal if you want to have ANY shot at winning titles in the near future.
