Twice as many 3 pointers as 2 pointers (Attempts)

Some players entire shot attempts were just threes, ALL OF THEM.

 

i mean, it's the logical conclusion. ask the press that's fawning over harden. how's he getting his 36 a game? basically, like last night (4-13 from three), but with 10-12 FTs and 4-5 layups.

i imagine there will be a tipping point when people won't want to watch this stuff, but it speaks volumes that popovich begrudgingly adopted the "threes at all costs" offensive philosophy. he hates what it does to the game, but he's paid to win games, so...

the only solution i can see is pushing the line out. i also think eliminating the short-corner three would help, but it might allow defenses to stack up too much on the drive.

anyway, i hope the league looks to better incentivize ball and player movement. basically, the antithesis of what houston does. the fans have spoken (nobody outside of houston and the morey acolytes in the national press likes watching houston). fix it.

 

Lower the basket to 9 feet so more activity in the paint?

 

Looks like Colin doesn't think so highly of Westbrook, calls him broken. Guy is also about to have a 3rd consecutive season averaging a triple double.

hmmm...in PR terms, westbrook won that divorce going away. the fact that he's allowed george to shine and has a team on par with any team durant had in okc says to me that he's doing fine, despite the bad shooting.

 

Cowturd has never liked Westbrook, takes a shot at him every chance he gets.

Confident Jayson Tatum says C Bags will win NBA Finals this year

The Boston C Bags were the favorites to win the Eastern Conference at the beginning of the season, and young star Jayson Tatum is still quite confidence in his team's chances of reaching the 2019 NBA Finals.
Tatum didn't stop there, however. He told ESPN's Rachel Nichols after winning Saturday night's All-Star Skills Challenge in Charlotte that the C Bags will win Banner No. 18 this season.

"We're gonna win the Finals this year," Tatum said. "Feb. 16, Jayson Tatum says (the C Bags) are going to win the Finals this year."

The C Bags entered the All-Star break in fourth place in the East standings, which is further down than most people thought they'd be at this point in the season. The C's have endured a real rollercoaster-like campaign, highlighted by impressive win streaks and plenty of wins against good teams (including a 7-3 record against their top four opponents in the conference) combined with stretches of poor play and puzzling losses to inferior teams.

 

I love how he calls them the C-bags too while giving crazy promises.

 

Players that give promises to win stuff they have never won before....

Well, they probably shouldn’t.

 

When you are featured in Slam Magazine

 

that was solid. these guys have a lot of time on their hands, and i'd like to see more of such silliness.

 

A couple of things:

- KD walked into a team with 3 allstars who had already been to two finals.
- The all star game MVP lost all meaning years ago.

I don't even like Westbrook that much, but this is classic modern day reporting, garbage.
