    I'm assuming we would wait though to see if we signed anyone. No reason to stretch him if we come up empty in free agency.

    lol, yeah. i think because we got pau for very little and other teams have managed to get stars for less (chris paul...twice) that we have to keep an asset or something.

    trade everyone for davis. even if something bad happens and it never pans out, lonzo/ingram/kuzma are not going to be centerpieces on contenders. would suck to lose them for nothing, but it's not franchise-crippling.

    how often do you get a shot at having maybe THE two best players in the nba at the same time, one of whom is 25 years old? 25!! never. do it. trade all.

    One thing I'm thoroughly perplexed by is Rondo's name in these rumors. Am I wrong or didn't NO let Rondo go?!! Why on earth would they be trying to get him back? That part just makes no sense to me at all. Especially as it was AD who loved playing with him the most over there and was bummed he was gone. Wouldn't that be a draw for him here in LA as well as Lebron? I'm not getting it. Put KCP in that trade instead and it makes sense.

    I don't get this either. Is KCP really not going to let us trade him to New Orleans after we've paid him 30 million for essentially nothing? Is Rich Paul more concerned with getting a minor client of his whatever he wants at the expense of making AD as happy as possible?

    I'm a fan of all our young players and what they could be, but Anthony Davis is already a top player in the league. With Lebron we knew we had to capitalize on this shorter window.

    The way I remember it the Pelicans offered Rondo a contract too, but he chose us. I think we may have offered more money, but less years, it’s been since July obviously, hard to recall. So the Pels wanting him back wouldn’t be odd. Of course I’d rather see KCP go out too though. Who knows what actually happens, if anything, I’m trying not to get too high or too low.

    he cant sign back with a team that you got traded away from for more than season and I doubt Rondo would come back if we traded him like this
