Is there any historical precedence for a head coach stepping down and then accepting an assistant coach role on the new head coach’s staff? If hypothetically there was an elite veteran head coach out there, something like this would be nice rather than just firing Luke outright. Of course, I don’t really see any head coaches on the market that are significantly better than Luke at this point. Getting rid of him for Jason Kidd or Mark Jackson would be a disaster.
I think it's more about McGee frustrated he's not starting again every game and as many minutes perhaps as he was after getting over pneumonia and Beasley thinking he needs more playing time. Was BS about Stephenson. Don't make it worse than that simple likely explanation.
Wouldn't that be interesting...shaking head. Sure and Kobe comes back too. File under, Raiders stay in Oakland. Not 'gonna happen.
I read Beasley told him "you mad bro" and Luke took exception to it lol... I'm thinking this is what you deserve. You should have thought about it before giving the front office your OK to sign them.
