"LeBron's Camp" is code for LeBron, but he's now waaay too media savvy to come out and say it himself and get re-labeled as a coach killer. And if LeBron wants Luke gone... he gone.
My camp says trade Lebron James. Racist, entitled f*** faces with vagina issues are problems in team sports.
The way this place constantly rips Luke I’d think folks would be thrilled that LeBron May want him gone.
It is funny. I’m not a big Luke fan at this point, but if this report is true, I would think it’s bush league for Lebron’s camp to leak this when he hasn’t been on the floor in a month.
A good friend of mine said to me once, if you have a problem with something and want to complain, you have more credibility in your argument if you also include a solution after your complaint. The reality is, the Lakers are 33 games away from finishing the season. There are 3 coaches in the NBA right now that you could say are great coaches. One of them is about to retire soon. NBA head coaching is the most difficult job on the planet, not only to do, but to find the next great coach. Firing Luke before the season ends will do absolutely NOTHING.
Douchey people do douchey things. :Kuzmawhoknew: How about you come out and dispute this Lebron? if not, you're basically an a** for letting your "camp" speak for you. Lost a groin, and your balls. If you actually had any.
Just when I was starting to like the guy. I really hope this isn't true and just the media trying to bs us all for media whore attention...
Name another coach that could’ve won with this roster we’ve had post Christmas? Sorry Bron Bron, but you haven’t invested here long enough to call shots.
While I was serious about my hot- seat post before I am not pro-replace Luke. He got this unit to play defense all we need is a better offense asst coach and we have him in LBJ. I dunno wtf else problem LBJ has with him, dos he want someone more passive like Lue?
you said it yourself in gm thread that luke doesnt run any system in O.....regardless of who wants him gone, he deserves to be gone
So it begins, hope his camp can find a good replacement from the plethora of coaches that are available.
To be fair, to those jumping on LeBron for this, it’s not entirely unlikely that Luke’s style of play contributed to his injury. Yes, he was playing less minutes than he has in forever, but we are also playing at a fatser pace than he ever has. We also relied on him to make plays out of nothing a good chunk of the time because as has been pointed out over and over here, we don’t have a great offensive system. I can actually see LeBron being justified in wanting to have a new coach brought in, and this is coming from someone who it pains to defend LeBron. I do not think this fast paced system is good for LeBron’s long term sustainability. No, I’m not really for firing Luke in-season as I don’t see any better hires, it’s probably best to let him finish out the season doing what he’s being paid to do. After that though, I do believe we should look into better coaching options, and if we don’t, we should at least hire a true “offensive coordinator” coach and let Luke handle the stuff he’s good at like dealing with the players and probably defense.
Lebron wants to control everything when he arrives in a new franchise . We know it . It has little to do with Luke . The question is : Will the Lakers said no to Klutch client Mark Jackson as Cleveland did ?
