It's Rancho Santa Fe, a couple hour drive to LA from there, I wouldn't read into that as coming to either LA team. He would buy that place if he stayed in Toronto for the off season and his family.

    Kawhi would be amazing.

He has by far the best mentality from all possible LA bound players.

He is a thug, all business. He doesn't smile and he plays with amazing intensity. He can knock down the 3, he is smart and he has a lot of tools in his bag.

It would suck if he goes to the Clippers because I have to hate him then for making an asinine decision.

It's a career threatening decision. Would not be wise at all.

If Kawhi chooses the Clippers while the Lakers, LeBron, and Magic are standing there with their arms wide open and plenty of cap space, then the Lakers mystique is truly dead. And I highly doubt that's the case.

i agree with the first statement. i'm not as dubious about the clips' prospects as you are, though. they've been on more than one player's radar recently--ahead of or in conjunction with the lakers, as if it's the same thing. this is the danger of sucking for nearly a decade.

getting lebron helped get some shine back, but missing the playoffs in his first season would undo some of that.

i'd be surprised if he doesn't end up with the clippers

and if the C Bags strike out on AD i could see kyrie joining him there

No one wants to be Lebron's stooge. He makes everyone on his team stooges.

Yeah, we NEED to make the playoffs for that very reason. I am not at all on board with the idea that it doesn't matter because this is some sort of throwaway season.

We absolutely need to make the playoffs and in my opinion we need to make some noise in them too. Getting swept or losing in 5 or 6 isn't good enough. The problem is if we end up in the 6-8 spot that very well may happen to us if we have to play a team like GSW.

Yup. An ignominious first-round exit will put us on par with the ‘06/‘07 seasons and nobody was crawling over broken glass to join those teams either.

I think we can all agree that voting for good players and wanting to play with them are completely different things.
