Nick Young Draymond Greened a fan at a car wash in LA, allegedly https://www.yahoo.com/sports/report...n-stole-phone-outside-car-wash-185526362.html Looks like Nick Young picked up on Draymond's nut fetish, allegedly. The year of our lord 2019 has not been a banner one for Nick Young, apparently. Days after he was waived by the Denver Nuggets, Young allegedly confronted a fan who took his photograph, struck the man in the genitals and stole his phone, according to TMZ Sports. This, if true, may mark the first time Young has avoided cameras and the grittiest defensive effort of his career. The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating the matter after a call from the alleged victim on Jan. 4, per TMZ. The man snapped the photo against Young’s wishes outside an L.A. car wash, which led to the unemployed NBA veteran allegedly “firing off a nut punch and swiping the phone,” TMZ said. See Young’s first Twitter post since the story broke for comment: After appearing in all but two games for the world champion Golden State Warriors last season, Young went the first two months of 2018-19 without an NBA job before the depleted Nuggets signed him with an injury exception in mid-December. He was waived on Dec. 30 after just four appearances in Denver. There have been no arrests made, according to TMZ, and there has been no evidence presented that Young used a groin-strike technique he may have learned from Warriors teammate Draymond Green. Young was reportedly arrested by the LAPD on obstruction of justice charges in August following an alleged confrontation with police during a routine traffic stop. He was sued in 2016 for allegedly assaulting a man during a pickup basketball game outside of a church in Southern California, the same year he and then Los Angeles Lakers teammate Jordan Clarkson were accused of sexual harassment. None of those incidents have yet resulted in public findings against the 33-year-old.
