Say what? Ok, I'll be the one. There is no question that Lonzo is the better player now AND prospect for the future.

Put Fox next to LeBron and watch his numbers shrivel.

Lonzo has definitely looked like the better player these past 2 meeting with Fox.
Fox is a crazy athlete, but Ball is far & away the more well rounded player.

fox isnt just an athlete, shooting % wise all still in favor fox....put fox here n his raw stays decline next to james but i dont see his fg % being as poor as ball tho

they're very different players. i don't think either team trades one for the other right now, but i'm guessing fox is regarded more highly around the league. he's got a super high ceiling and has already made a lot of strides in one year.

Until Lonzo is given the keys to run an offense(specific system) game in and game out, he will never reach his ultimate level. He is not an off the ball player. That hinders him. He needs to control the game. That's his unique skillset.

still disagree here. until he's any type of threat to make a play off the dribble in the half court, he can't be given the keys. he didn't even have the keys in college, really.

You need to be able to score enough on decent efficiency to run/control a whole system .

Fox is a better player until Lonzo can score .

The discussion about Lonzo always has been and is pretty simple/the same : not good enough until he can score and keep the defense honest .

Sure he has many qualities as player but the main point of the sport remains to put the ball in the basket

Or to prevent the other team from doing so. Zo is a much better defender than Fox.

This is spot on. The good news is Lonzo is so talented he will eventually take over on his own.

So, LeBron sits three games, and suddenly Lonzo's scoring average those three games is 17ppg with 8apg. Must be a coincidence.

You remember how young Kobe's numbers were limited because of deferring to Shaq.

No one is saying Fox is a bad player. He's very good. But in these last two games an honest evaluation would call the matchup between Ball and Fox a split. Fox won the matchup the last game and Ball won the previous game when Fox went 6-20. But neither game was a blowout for either guy.

i agreed with your assessment that fox raw stats would decline here in place of ball but the fg% for zo compared to fox is really bad and i dont see either guys % being vastly different if both were in different situations

3 points in 35 minutes. 1 for 5 from the free throw line. Got benched to close out the game for the 2nd straight night. Not good at all

Not ready and dont want to trade him,but wtf is going with him, today he had good short streches were he had couple dishes and blocks but that was more or less all.
There are not excuses for his ft,do they even train it,did he recive any profesional help, couse it is mental,he is shooting them like he is in rush, just throws them,if it goes it goes,no confidence.
I want to.see more ball in his hands.
