He has to do a better job of protecting the basketball. Seeing the ball constantly flying out of his hand after being stripped is ridiculous.

Puke, repeat after me ... Brandon Ingram is not, has never been and will never be a PG.

Stop letting him facilitate. He doesn't have a clue .

Ingram is the new Odom: an abundance of talent and versatility, but drives you nuts with his bonehead plays, and can be counted on to never hit both free-throws.

This is on the coaching staff whose doing a poor job in everything "technical/stategy wise"

The only thing Luke is good at is having a good relationship with his players .

    Assistants are worthless

Tough crowd. A 22/3/2/2/1 perfomance from a 21 year old player is garbage?

in the absence of a ball handler on the court, he's one of the only guys who has practiced that role

he was needed. Doesn't mean he was good at it. I think he likes the ball in his hands, but he needs to get better at taking a decisive action once he has it, and not holding onto it too long.

Overall besides the ball handling, I think his skills show measured improvement.

38 min, and the team was +7 with him on the floor

    Kuzma 40 min, and -13.

I think people underestimate the value of his defense and his lenf

Yes. Prime example of stats being taken out of context.

LFR stats, however, prove what has been apparent to ANYONE who watched - BI stinks as a primary facilitator out of ISO, especially at the top of the key area.

He dribbles the ball for 14 seconds and then, in many cases, forces a shot or a pass out to a teammate who now has to make something with the clock at 5 - 6 seconds.

Quite often it's to Kuz, because he moves and generally makes himself a target. Kuz then shoots a contested shot and gets labeled a chucker.

Same thing happens in the triple threat position, with lower frequency.

BI SHOULD NOT INITIATE, He isn't good at it. Those 22 points are nice, but the amount of LOST points due to the above negates them

I don't care how good his stats looked at the end. He makes poor decisions, is a ball stopper, gets stripped easily and can't shoot FTs...he was terrible in the 4th.

Funny how you rip on LeBron in a loss when he puts up monster stats, but with Ingram it's all you bring up.

OK, my definition of garbage is a player that can't sniff double digit points, never mind 22 while bringing it on the defensive end with blocks and steals, but OK.

I'm obviously exaggerating when i say "garbage"...don't take it so literal.

I understand but "garbage" is quite a strong word. I never used anything remotely close towards Lebron fyi, unless you consider a C+ grade "garbage" lol

But he did shove Har'en rather hard, and almost punched a ref.

STILL getting the benefit of the doubt in my book, but everyone brings up valid points.

But Lebron gets ripped on because of his self promoting and non finishing ways. That last video from Game of Zones was hilarious.

Yes it is. I've worked with and helped many bad free throw shooters and it is simple. Bad free throw shooting comes from a lack of confidence at the line. That lack of confidence comes from not feeling prepared. Correct the form and then thousands and thousands of reps. When the heat is on you have to rely on your preparation. All the reps in the world dont help though till you fix the mechanics.
