Yeah, probably but his shot selection was horrible... taking highly difficult shots early in the shot clock... and he should have had a clear advantage against the Clips. He also let Patrick “Scrub” Beverly punk him pretty bad... it was actually pathetic. I would’ve pushed Beverly or jawed at him... something! Hield just walked away with his head down.

I'd think I would like Buddy here, he's hella chilled so why let Beverly get under him even more so by reacting? Most here didn't chastize Zo when Murry was pulling his antics on him, best way to shut up and clown Beverly is to own him on the court.

Agreed but it was what Beverly did. Well after the play once the ref wasn’t looking he came over and slapped the ball out of his hands by coming across his arms. Buddy didn’t say anything. I was 14 rows up from the floor and could see it clearly. I’m sure Beverly did for the audience right there (Logo and Ballmer). I agree not to retaliate but say something man. Be a competitor. Kobe wouldn’t have tolerated that crap. It’s the mindset of these guys that irritates me. That nonsense would not fly 20+ years ago.

I guess I’m just from a different era because I would’ve said something to that douche nozzle. Buddy did nothing like he was intimidated by that scrub.

I actually think he could be a great fit. The kids need structure, and we have the vets who can take the reigns too.

And it would bring prayer back into the Staples Center.

Luke has issues but firing him is not the move. That is like pouring gasoline on a fire. I hope this doesn't happen.

Of course Luke isn't perfect, he hasn't a lot of flaws and they get emphasized now when we are ring chasing. But to fire him now is just asking for trouble. Is there a better replacement out there for him? If there is then you fire him, but a lot of the names being thrown around are marginal improvements and all come with their own set of problems.

I see Luke as most likely a great assistant, but not the leader needed to be a GREAT head coach.

Honestly I don't even care at this point. Walton hasn't showed me much of anything. I'm not sold on him at all.

I really believe if we get a new coaching staff for Luke, this team will run like it’s supposed to. I understand Luke should be held responsible and I do hold him responsible, but I’m really wondering if new assistants would solve our problems.

Firing Luke won’t solve any of our problems, best case scenario the problems remain. We see glimpses of great coaching at times from this staff and we also see utter trash as well. I’m really curious as to what causes the inconsistency. Any former coaches or anybody on here that could give me some insight into that? That really has me scratching my head a lot. How can we look like a championship team against a playoff team in one game and then look worse than the Suns against the Wizards or Nets in another? Why are free throws still a problem? I mean how deep does it go? Mind you this was still happening with our full roster, so I know injuries aren’t the cause of it.

Magic and Rob really need to look at this and have a plan to move forward without firing Luke. If you get actual competent and experienced assistants and we still have the same issues then at that point we know that Luke is the problem, but I just find it hard to believe that our problems lay solely on him.
