    Could be a compound injury in that he broke his 3rd metacarpal in the same hand.

    Either way...grade 3 means a complete tear of the ligament and corrective surgery.

    That's so often not fair IMO. This is all random s*** that can happen to anyone at any time. Doesn't mean they're fragile. And not directing it at you only for sure. Too common out of our fan frustration.

    Surgery is not required, just about a month with elite athletes and high end treatment. Also if it was playoffs time he would still play with it. Didn't something similar happen to Kobe but he played through it?
