I mentioned it in the game time chat but will say it again... I thought the defense was stellar and the length really bothered Golden State. Luke and staff came up with a great game plan.

I really enjoyed the defensive effort but I enjoy watching great defense than I do great offense.

Finally, something I noticed when Luke was interviewed after the first quarter was that Luke’s only critique was that he wanted the team to pass more and that they were taking too many shots early in the shot clock. My conclusion is that Luke tells them what they should do but at times guys do what they want. For example, Kuz playing hero ball and being a black hole and then committing stupid fouls... the one on Curry was super annoying.

I guess what I’m trying to say is that Luke gets bashed on here a lot but I think it is definitely unwarranted when guys kinda do their own thing out there.

dominating win against a struggling GSW but then not even you can explain loses to the likes of Orl, nets, etc.

My take away is that LeBron is a very difficult player to coach

Yes I can explain those losses.

    1. We are not good enough to go 73-9. We are going to lose some games.

    2. Young teams tend to focus more for stronger opponents and let down for weaker opponents.

    3. Luke is one of the younger coaches in the league and is going through his own growing pains.

Once again, I’m not arguing for no criticism. I’m arguing for people to criticize when deserved and applaud when deserved. It’s obvious you have a different skewed agenda.

yes I'll admit I my criticizing/praise ratio for Luke is vastly skewed, but since the hire I have maintained my view of luke as medicore to avg coach and I still believe that. I also admit I did want him at the initial time of hiring but that was mostly due to the actual candidates that were available at the time.

Now he needs to implement the same gameplan and double team Fox as if he is Curry

Somehow, Luke always seems to bring the kryptonite to the fight against the Warriors. I'll definitely give him that. He coaches well against his former employers.

I still find this roster too weird to properly judge Walton.

I see none and that's problematic since that team is/was leading the league in 3PT % last time I checked. Now I guess we do the usual man to man D and get broke down by Fox each time down the court

I went to the Clippers Kings game last night to do some scouting (actually I got some tix) and pretty much everyone outside of Fox is a scrub. Buddy Hield forced a lot of bad shots. Shumpert is a scrub so is Bogdanovic. So many blown layups and piss poor defense it was atrocious. They are very susceptible to penetration as SGA was having his way and so was Tobias Harris. They have no reliable big outside of Cauley Stein...

So, basically this is a loss.

Exactly. Scrubs seem to go off on the Lakers and the Kings have them in spades! LOL!

agreed but Hield is not a scrub, he's been lights out shooting the 3 the last month or so till that Clipp gm but he also struggles against Ingram for whatever reason too.
