Solid game. We missed his perimeter defense.

...much like Odom was. Doesn't particularly stand out in one aspect of his overall game but does enough of everything to augment everybody else's.

Interesting that Burke singled him out as the one Laker player she wouldn't trade.

Glad he had a good showing...gotta show the Pelicans what they'd be getting if they traded AD...

Bran the man. I breathe easier when he is in the line-up despite the mind scratching ball pounding in the perimeter

That's right ....All this negative talk about BI is nuts. We are a better team every time he steps on the floor. He plays the game the right way and the ball pounding and ISOing are going to come in handy in May/June when we need a bucket. Love what this team can develop into.

Looking forward to seeing Ingram step up during Lebron's absence.

    ^

He will dribble more for sure. But perhaps it will result in him scoring more, who knows.

Looking forward, now that these guys are getting better at it, to see the player and ball movement in the half court where it won't be disrupted, out of necessity or not, by LeBron going into playoff LBJ mode. And then most of them still seem confused as to where, when and which direction to move and cut while he is breaking his guy down on the perimeter.

Yeah, not to mention Lebron's injury is his first introduction to the inevitable Father Time a lot of us have been talking about. This is the reason why I'm against going all in (trading all our kids for AD, another injury prone player) with a 34 year old superstar as our centerpiece. We need depth and Ingram is the closest thing we have to a point forward in Lebron's absence. I want him to further develop his playmaking. At the very least Ingram can play a Ginobili/Odom role coming off the bench.

The plan would be to trade for AD this offseason AFTER we sign Kawhi. Then we have two stars in their prime under 30 to go with Lebron.

In that case, I would have no issue with blowing up our team. Although Kawhi, LeBron, and AD would be too unfair I'd expect some sort of basketball reasoned denial from the league LOL

I think someone figured out we'd have to basically renounce everyone too. Be a shame to lose all of our young cheap talent that our draft dept has done so good on.

I'm sorry, but if some team like the Pelicans end up with Bonga, BI, Moe, SVI, and Hart in a deal, both sides will win. We have several combinations of players to make it worth it for a team. Ideally we outright sign one max FA, and then trade for another. But wow, talk about roster turnover in 24 months! Geez.

how much should advance stats play into Ingram future value/potential? I dont know jack about how to apply it but I keep seeing nay sayers on other forums suggest Ingram is pretty much a marginal replaceable player based on his advance metrics since his rookie yr. What your guys thoughts on this matter? As oppose to Zo who has very good advance metrics but he looks invisible most of the time himself majority of the time.
