You're a bigger man than I am. I seethed at this continually before my eyes...

He parlayed a contract year into one of the worst contracts ever! Thanks Mitch.

Why wouldn't he praise a coach that he beat so easily?

14-5 over the last 19 games. That W/L % over an entire season would be a 60 win season.

Of what do you speak? I've always supported Luke actually. You've seen www.fireluke.com right?

I don't know exactly how well he's doing or how much is truly attributed to his coaching. He's definitely not impeding the teams progression and they are doing surprisingly well, even with a lot of very poor defensive games.

I'm pretty satisfied with Luke, seems to have the players respect which is extremely hard to gain.. especially at such a young age to be head coach.

Not at all surprised to see him outcoached by veteran coaches at times.. it comes with the territory. It's how you react to those losses and improve that will define his season.

Yeah, that 4th quarter meltdown during that last loss I attribute to Pop out-coaching him.

The fact the Spurs were unable to miss for a few minutes didn't help, but yeah Pop is still the better coach than Luke. Then again, he's probably better than all other coaches in the NBA. IMO Luke has done a decent job so far.

Luke has developed a great culture for this team but can he lead them to the promise land? Will he be able to do it with another superstar or two, will he be able to when Lebron starts declining? I don’t know but theres really isn’t a much better replacement out there.

Pretty lucky for a coach that sucks so bad and needs to be fired.

I don’t know how much of the 15-5 is because of Luke or in spite of him. We have Lebron playing well, a great C rotation that fits with Lebron, we have Hart and Kuz bringing it most nights and have the bench firing. I don’t know if any of that can be attributed to Luke.

I know that if we were 5-15 no one would be saying I don't know if any of the losses can be attributed to Luke.

So at what point does Luke get credit?

Right now we're #8 in points per possession allowed to opposing teams. We're a top 10 defensive team. NBA players don't just get together, mess around, and play defense. Coaching and scouting is involved in the process. Luke and the coaching staff deserve credit for their contributions.
