I agree with your assessment. Smith isn't a scrub. He is going to be a starting caliber player. But you can clearly see that Doncic is going to be a star. Smith is more Wesley Matthews or Harrison Barnes type of guy. Useful but not exactly a guy that moves the needle.
Well who the f*** is his new coach that now has him starting his FT motion by moving the ball left right left right up until he releases it? And then laughably hold the final release motion while it clanks. But guess it's better than this?
Maybe they are telling him to do that motion to take his mind off the pressure of making the free throw. Either way the guy needs help.
Dude is done in Philly. He should see a shrink. I think, a good "head doctor" could do wonders for him... coupled with some meds
Imagine if Philly hadn't whiffed on okafor and fultz. Simmons Zinger Tatum Embiid Guess we would have zinger and Tatum too.
J R Smith yikes Over 14 million they will sit down and attempt to trade him. His next year is not guaranteed, so it's not as bad as it could be, but I would think Cleveland would have to fork over an asset or two to get rid of him. Unless someone is desperately trying to create cap room for next year's FA bonanza. Could get interesting.
I think litigation involving Fultz and some kind of injury being misdiagnosed is in Philly’s future.
Just like blatant tanking doesn't result in a top overall pick, forcibly breaking a record just because another team's #2 pick did it and you're #1 should... Karma is a b-word.
OKC hands the Dubs their first 4 game losing streak under Kerr. Sam Presti pulled out another fleece (as of right now) when he got Dennis Schroder for Carmelo.
OKC is the #1 team I root against in the NBA as I hate them and everything about them. Even ahead of the C Bags. But GS has been too successful so it is great to see them struggle quite a bit. Even though all they need is get their head right and be healthy.
