Everyone down on BI, do you really think he just regressed for no reason? He just doesnt fit in to what this team is doing. Hes going to be a very good player. Hes still 5 years from his prime and is averaging 15-16 a game. He will be fine. Up until this point hes done everything asked of him. Played PG when we needed it, guarding the other teams best player at end of games. Clog the passing lanes. Attack the rim more. Now hes in a funk since lebron is in town and everyone wants this kid out? After 13 games? Show some loyalty to our guys, give him TIME. He has a great skill set. That being said, maybe start hart and make BI the sixth man. He is more effective with the ball in his hands.

not impressed to be honest, there's nothing bout his game right now that suggest he's knows how to play winning ball, not assertive, his D is avg at best relys to much on his length rather than playing tight D. His O is also very predictable, constant pump faking or driving into a packed paint

Not assertive? What do you call thinking he can and dribbling 3 times with skills he's worked on into the teeth of the defense around the key only to be stripped? Stupidly so and why I have been ranting today. He's not shying away from any of that. And driving into the trees and getting his skinny body bent when they are better positioned than his drive is. Problem is more IMO that he is trying to pull stuff off that his skills aren't quite good enough for yet. Wish HE would get with Kobe like Kuz and Tatum.

...tried to force the action. Counted three of those where he turned it over. Twice in the first quarter and another in the second. Also had another dribble poked away. Doing too much won't let the game come to him. Ingram was doing well early on playing off the ball with James. Since the suspension, he's gravitated away from it.

I do give him kudos for slowing Young some down the stretch.

yes not assertive, I dont take the him driving into a packed house as being assertive. there's to many instances in a game where you dont even realize he's even in the game, just standing at the 3pt line waiting for the ball and only to pass it right back to whomever. We need that last yrs Feb or whatever month BI where he was doing everything (I realize that time he had the ball alot)....that lineup of Ball,Hart,Bi,Kuz with tc or mcgee would be great for this team...that lineup was destroying the opponents in a game earlier this yr.

Well the elephant on the court is everyone in their own way that was here before LeBron are all adjusting to him. Kuz is not BI and BI is not Kuz. But you can't broad brush "not assertive" on Ingram across his whole game.

I agree with a lot of that. But many things you listed are a product of poor coaching and not putting him in the right situation. His game will evolve. IMO He was def assertive before lebron.

Like ball, he can't shoot and has trouble finishing at the rim. both are plus-defenders, but only ball has generally high hoop iq. When I see Ingram, I see his head on Paul George's body, like Newman eyeing Kramer as a turkey.

right. you can't build around someone at that talent level. he has to fit in, not the other way around.

I also think he should not be playing as much 2 as he is. I think he should be starting at 3 along with Hart at the 2. The Ingram/Kuz starting lineup isn't working IMO. Hart is a natural 2, Ingram a 3 and Kuz is a tweener 3/4. Kuz should be coming off the bench for size and scoring punch. Hart should be starting. He's our most reliable three point shooter right now for floor spacing.

I like Ingram off the bench, more staggered with lebron and playing more with rondo.

    Wo
Wow ... kind of tough on BI. I don’t think his slow start is all on him. You do realize he’s playing a new position right? Totally different responsibilities and shots come from different court angles. His Adaption has come quicker on the Defense end than on offense end and he’s playing winning basketball for us. Maybe it’s the offensive expectations before season but the team is finding its stride with him being a critical part. Check the defensive matchups, he’s containing or flat out stopping the oppositions top player since the suspension. Don’t think that are recent Defensive uptick is solely due to Tyson. The offense will pick up once he figures out his spots ... once that happens oooh boy ....look out league. Oh, and he just turned 21.

The jury is still out for me with BI, but I am starting to get worried.
