Fab4, Better to stay on the fence instead of committing to a side like this guy...

... With the #BrarelyBealievable talent evaluation.

Beal better go see the wizard to get more bite to his "all-star numbers" cause once the tiny dogg unsheathes his real "bark" the only thing the crap shack will be serving up are "bones"... You can bet the house on it!

So what you're telling me is that Beal avgs nearly 4 more minutes on the court than BI does (33.8 vs 30.1), is top 20 in field goal attempts per game putting up about 5 more shots than BI does(17.6 vs 13),is top 7 in 3 point attempts per game flinging about 6 more attempts than BI does (8.2 vs 2) and avgs more attempts at the free throw line than BI does...yet only avgs 7.5 more points than BI does.

And then there are the touches, with Beal avg 63 to BI's 47 per contest.

So Beal is leading BI in some numbers...but what are they really leading to?

Oh btw, there's the other side of the court too: Beal avg -3.8 (Ortg 106.9, Drtg 112.3, Netrtg -5.4) while BI avg +0.5 (Ortg 111.5, Drtg 110.5, Netrtg +1).

My only question with Beal, is why doesn’t his all-star status translate to wins? Is Wall the problem? Is Brooks? The Wizards are a constant disappointment, and this year they’re 2-7 so far, which is horrible in the East. Players with good numbers that are consistent losers even with roster improvements and coaching changes worry me, just like Kevin Love pre and post LeBron. BUT, to be fair, I know changes of scenery can make a player into a winner, like with Pau when he came here.

I'd compare Beal to Love. That seems apt.

I'm honestly teasing, but the mere thought of this trade was so repulsive in the summer to most of the board. Now? Most of you guys aren't opposed. :D

And to be fair to everyone else, Love was probably better than Beal even. So take that for what it is. I think the Lakers are searching for bigger fish, but Beal would be a good backup plan.

No I'm sure there's plenty who are on your side.

But there was NOBODY on my side before. :D So I'm just tickled that people are seeing my side at all.

Bron likes him, so I’m guessing g he sees things BI is yet to show in the games consistently. Be nice if he figures it out quickly though.

feel like in the preseason, ingram was moving better off the ball. maybe teams sniffed that out a bit?

that slow gather on his jumpers really causes him problems, as does his tendency to stop and/or hold the ball.

Brandon has been struggling early, but I'm confident he will get it and become an impact player. He's still only 21.

Trade him? Absolutely for AD or Giannis or Kawhi, but that's about it in terms of who might be available.

    Bradley Beal?

    Let's compare apples to apples:

Beal in his 3rd season at age 21:

    15:3 ppg / 3.8 rpg / 3.1 apg / 33.4 mpg

Brandon in his 3rd season at age 21:

    15:5 ppg / 3.8 rpg / 1.2 apg / 30.0 mpg

Looks pretty similar to me, and that's with Brandon not hitting his zone yet. Then factor in BI's LENGTH, and his versatility in being able to play 3 spots on the floor, and his defensive potential. By the time BI is Beal's age he is likely to be a load to handle.

I should also mention that Beal would take minutes from Josh Hart and slow his progress.

Hey TIME, what would you trade for Kawhi tho? Like how many players max? Haha

Nonetheless, I totally agree with ya bro. This is BI's first exposure to playing with a legit superstar. It's going to take some time to develop (see 9-8 in Miami, 19-20 in the return to Cleveland).

That brings me to what someone else said...not saying Wall is a bonafide superstar, but Beal's been playing with dude, while Pau Gasol was THE dude in Memphis before teaming up with THE superstar in LA. Beal ain't on Pau's level...they not the same and neither are their situations.

In terms of Love... He stat padded in Minny with nothing to show for it in May. Teamed up with a superstar and you got 4 Finals appearances and a ring. Again, not really similar to Beal's situation with Wall/Wizards.

Greener pastures and playing with Bron here in LA could make Beal's numbers more impactful in terms of wins and losses, but till then, dude just stat pads with next to nill in impact towards wins. I guess a better comparison would be...would be...now where have I seen this before?!?

Just seems things haven't 'clicked' yet for BI. We all know what he's capable of when he gets into a groove. He just needs a bit more time playing with Lebron. I'm not worried at all.

LFR has spoken about this on numerous occasions. I quoted him earlier saying how this is a simple problem that could be fixed by a shooting coach, but that he has NEVER seen anyone on the Lakers staff talk to BI about improving his gather (and he sits within earshot of the coaching staff during pre game warmups/practices).

In fact if you look at my really long post about my reservations on BI during the offseason, I point this out, specifically around why he has struggled to deal with drop coverage on the PnR.
