no one has published the supposed protections, etc. how many of the picks are swaps, for example? are those counting as "picks"? are they all top-5 protected? are some lotto-protected?

if the offer was: unprotected 19, swap 20, lotto protected 21, swap 22, or something to this effect, it would be a hard pass for me. everyone's assuming houston's offering unprotected picks in 2023 or something, and i'm not sure that's the case.

I guess that’s true, but that doesn’t exactly sound like four first rounders. That’s like 2. If that’s what it means I’m less likely to do it, but I think people undervalue picks in the NBA, especially in a rebuild.

i say it because the famous brooklyn land giveaway is always billed as 4 picks, but it was really 3 picks and a swap. and those were all unprotected. since then, i'm not sure an unprotected pick has been traded by a non-contender even 1 year out.

in short, i'm guessing the package isn't like that nets package. else the deal would be done.

It's still early but that's definitely some nice improvement.

Thats usually how much a team takes before 2012 or so...

in 2018 most teams take 30+ threes....worst team (lowest attempts) is 25 3s a game.

Chicago is averaging 40 threes...some games some teams easily take 50 or 60 threes...crazy.

But at 60%....I don't mind if you take 100 threes.

Everyone is talking about Klay's night and rightfully so but I think we knew something amazing or weird was going to happen that night when this possession worked out:

    wow, haha

It didn't matter what the Bulls did last night

They were just playing with their prey

In the last Week Steph Curry had a 51 pt game, Durant has a 41 pt game, with 24 pts in the 4th Qtr. and last night Klay breaks the record for most Threes in a game & scores 52.
Is this Team just getting better..? And they still get to add Boogie..

Re-watched Klay's highlights, video game stuff. 52 in 26mins :O (if Kerr kept playing him, im more than sure that he would easily reach 20).
When you have 3 guys that can put 40 points on any given night, without breaking a sweat... and when the NBA "forbids" you to play defense - you are in trouble. Congrats GSW on your 4th straight title.

well, in this case it was the players' association rejecting cap smoothing that allowed this monstrosity.

injuries are the only thing that can stop them, imo. but injuries happen a lot. one of those guys turns an ankle, and there's three or four teams that might could beat them. position yourself to be one of them.

So many 50 point games already. Kobe, T-Mac, Iverson etc. should all make a comeback...
