LOL. Klay + Steph + Dray.... + AI + Livingston. I can be a coach of that f***ing team. Correlation dude...
That's a 42" inseam without a belt...you damn right I'm hung up. #GetTheStrap Hey Kob came up off the bench for his first 2 seasons playing 71 and 79 games respectively, then started in his 3rd year and played all 50 games in a lockout shortened season...followed by injury shortened seasons in his 4th and 5th year as a 21/22 year old. What's that...4 years of "college" ball and a rookie year before he played a 80 game season as a starter. Ball @19 started right off the bat (and rightfully so with Ennis/Caruso backing him up) and how that season go for him health-wise? Not really a homerun...well actually, he did March home. Stop Dodgin' the health aspect of this bro. Developing story: kids can't be thrown in against men until they grown. Yeah this starter discussion... Is a non-starter. Moving on... Hard to quantify that into stats, ey Zen?
Wait so is it he has to earn it? He's not that talented? He only played two seasons of college ball? Or is it because you don't want him hurt? I can't find the goal posts here man, you've moved 'em so many times.
Why does Bron get that bag? Dude was a starter and played a min of 75 games per season till his 9th season (where he played 62 games). He deserves that starting spot cause his body and his body of work proves he can sustain that type of work load. Zo was a wrap and put in a wrap in March last year. His body ain't deserving of that type of workload yet...until proven otherwise. Kob had all the talent in the world...his talent was deserving of a starting spot, but dude came up off the bench behind Eddie and even Byron till his body was mature enough to deserve that type of workload. We can't be reckless with the kids development. He could put up crazy numbers, but is it beneficial to us if he's in and out of the lineup? Prove that his body can sustain this type of workload (2nd in pace and leading the league in fastbreak points) and then move him to the starting spot as we rev up his minutes. Till then, earn it with play like last night with no aches and pains coming off a back to back. Dude just came off a minutes restriction...we're overcautious, but it's also the #responsiBall thing to do. Live look at Ball vs the opposition when he proves his durability: Likewise, I'm #immovaBall on this topic bro...so hope you found the goal to my posts ...if not, then you should go kick rocks instead
Interesting enough that is all that Luke wants to worry about right now. Now, before folks say well its not working. Maybe after a while we start to look at the players instead of the coach. Do we have the players that can actually be consistent on defense and improve? It's still way to early, but just a thought. KCP was brought back because he could help on defense. I don't see him doing that consistently yet this year. Also, to Zen saying you give Stevens more props because he made it to the ECF and Luke hasn't done that in the West. Look at the team that Steven's has and consider the conference he's coached in. Without Kyrie and Hayward in the post season that was impressive but I'll never not bring up the fact that it's the East and the joke that that conference is.
how bout we use the resident across the hall as a reference pt, no stars, talent wise is roughly similar to our team with a blend of youths/vets, they're 4-2 and look solid. This team looks like they dont know wtf to do almost every 4th qtr when game gets tight and they can't run/gun
They've looked great. Unlike us they've just figured out how to win close games. They don't have a superstar but what they do have his continuity and the mere mortal Boban Marjanovic
3 of their starters are "new," Beverly and Gallo missed all of last yr and Gortat is a new player. Their bench I can get behind for continuity as far as Lou being the clear guy there but they shouldn't be gelling any better than we are.
That's a good point I forgot that Beverly missed all of last year and Gallo missed much of last year. They are definitely doing better than us with less talent. They also haven't really had an easier schedule. They've played the Nuggets and Rockets twice. One I think without CP3 and once without Harden, but that's no day at the beach facing those teams.
They only faced the nuggets once (which they lost) and the rockets twice (once without cp3, once without harden )...our schedule has definitely been tougher and we've had to play the last 4 games without Ingram (our 2nd best player) and Rondo (probably our 4th best player). I would say the Clippers have been a bit lucky and could easily be 2-4 like us
The only bad team I see on there is the wizards with all their locker room drama. That OKC game I think Russ was just coming back or still out, I don't remember
my only worry is that who is going to help score in that 2nd unit. We saw in that 3rd quarter against the spurs (the last 4 minutes of the quarter) our offense really struggled to put something together.
Lance is hit or miss and I don't see Hart as a basket creator himself. I think we should start Hart and bring one of BI or Kuz off the bench. Preferably BI.
this team cant score in half court whether its starters or bench n i put that on puke!....yr 1=rebuilding, yr2=not enough talent to win....all valid reasons for our losing, NO MORE EXCUSES!!!
