Considering he was injured the entire off season this start is in the amazing category. I expect his condition to improve so we don't see those lull times where he is resting on offense. He still needs to be more aggressive either for his own shot or in getting easier shots for his team. But, the 3 ball improvement is very encouraging.
I still contend: the most natural basketball player we've drafted since Kobe Bryant. The game comes second nature to him. The shots he's giving up and hesitating on will come around the longer he plays with great players. He is still a perfect fit next to LeBron (or really any star player).
..... yeah that doesn't suck. Especially when you realize he's shooting the ball differently for the better in a number of ways...... than he has since he was a kid.
That conversation will NEVER happen with Zo; their styles mesh so beautifully. Tomorrow will be a tougher test, but Zo has IT; took me awhile to see it, but man, with the right ingredients around him, he's a star. Excellent game tonight, too.
Seeing him in lineups with LeBron is among my favorite things this season. He's starting to control himself in combination with his devastating speed. He's coming along faster than I anticipated. He deserves credit for working on his shot too, good job Zo.
Yeah Zo is really fast on the floor to begin with and then he's really souped up with the fast twitch and reaction / anticipation dealer options as well. Good to control it better. One of these days he's going to finish around the rim a lot more often like Hart as he continues to get stronger and bounce guys going there.
I've always been a fan (I am a Bruin after all). I love watching the kid play. And he still reminds me of a better shooting J. Kidd. He's got great defensive instincts and his passing and pushing the offense are beautiful. Good rebounder too. I'm glad his three is falling now. He shot nearly 40% from college so I was hoping it would improve.
Zo is hitting 40% on his three ball for the season with 22 attempts (5 attempts per game). Not bad for a hopelessly broken shot. LeBron is hitting .167 from three as a comparison.
Either LaVar is still back in Lithuania with his JBA all stars that I'm sure Melo and Gelo begged him to take back to that country .... ..... or Lonzo finally grew a pair and told him to STFU. Quiet out there. Sincerely Jinx Boy
I have a feeling that happened. He told pops, these f***ers will send me to New Jersey, stay in your lane. haha
I think he's thinking pass too much, too the point where he'll see someone open while shooting and misjudge his strength on the shot. When he just shoots in rhythm without thinking, it looks very good. Whatever, even if made 40% of his threes and airballed the rest, as embarrasing as that would be, he's still 40%.
Raises hand .... I like the way Lonzo has that artistic flair with his best passes sometimes as all great passers have. The no look and all the other deceptive wizardry they do.
Zo was hanging his head a bit, but dude kept fighting... Then this happened.. Love that s*** so much...And then ending the half with that assist to Kuz. Zo needs to keep giving Murray the bizness...even if your shot ain't falling, keep pressure on dude.
